I keep hearing this rumor that BA cannot participate in the playoffs but have yet to believe it. Can anyone clear this up for me?

i would also like to note that McCallie should have beat BA and dominated them on the line of scrimmage for the majority on the game. I was very impressed watching that game by McCallie's play and they have a great football team this year.

This was not a shocked loss at all. Father Ryan should have been up on McCallie 28 3 at half. I believe Father Ryan almost let McCallie back in the game but when the time came the defense shut the door on McCallie and didn't let them in the zone. This was one of Ryan's worst games this year and they won it with their effort. Should of beat the Tornados by 3 touchdowns. as for the McCallie Ensworth game. I believe Ensworth really does not know what they have coming for them and have not factored in the fact that McCallie will smack them in the mouth and physically and mentally wear down this young Ensworth team. Good luck to both but i have McCallie 35 to 14 (and thats as close of a score as i can go)

i believe ensworth's first REAL test of true DII teams are coming up with MC and MBA. They look good against Knox Webb and CPA but we'll see where all the tiger fans are talking after they play the real DII AA teams. nevertheless congrats on the wins

Maybe next year for tate, not this year. yes he had a good game against the 3a greenbriar team but i dont think he'll put those numbers up in the powerhouse DII league

$4,000 has much to do with football in the sense that a family with special needs and a special athlete will choose to save $16,000 rather than blow it just for a certain school. even if there is family ties and the kid wants to go there, most the time the parents will overrule the child and save the 16k and send him to JPII. henry co wont make it to state. offensive line was blown up by ryan in the scrimmage. yes i know it was a scrimmage but ryan caused mass destruction. if they toughen up and play more aggressive on the line possibly, but as of know, i dont believe so.

Ryan will come to work with a hard hat on Friday. They will be ready to lay the wood and smack them in the mouths. Haven't heard much talk from the JPII fans. The Bishops Cup is at stake and i don't see much hype from that side of the ball. Where are you guys?

How good really is Antioch this year? I didn't get to catch the game Friday and i was wondering how they played, if it was MBA or just Antioch's bad play and what kind of year is expected.

I was blessed to watch the scrimmage between Father Ryan and Henry Co. last night and i agree with the critics about Henry Co. They're a good solid football team and had a strong showing but their offensive line couldn't withstand the smashmouth defense of Ryan's front six. It seemed to wear on them and i believe that to be cause of their line's lack of experience. Great quarterback in 3 although tailback did dissappoint me. Big body but again FR's defense seemed to wear him down as well. I believe with some line work, maybe a little bit of a toughening up and they'll be a lot stronger all around. Hope the Patriots have a good year.
