  3. I am sure yo are correct, that's why I said I needed the brackets. "I don't do AAA" I had Seagul on my list, but don't know who to drop. Tell me where to look and I will swap Siegel for another school.

  6. You know I agree. See my pick above. They have played some of the best too. I thought they would dominate, but I thought Briarcrest was in the same boat. Then there's the Titans?????
  7. Yes, it looks like St Agnes has had three ties while Baylor is 14-0 and should be deserving of the top D2 spot. One of the teams St Agnes tied is PJP which Baylor will play on Thursday. I believe it is the only team that both schools play so the outcoming could be telling. Sorry, but I don't think it's that easy, but you certainly may use any math you wish. You don't know who might have been injured or visiting colleges or comparative strength of schedule. SAA has played 16 games to Baylors 14 also. Euro states 36 goals for Baylor, or 2.8 goals per game and SAA has 3.5 per game including PJP. If you want to bet on the results of one game, played by both teams 5 weeks apart, you might as well fire up the crystal ball. Also, since you mind was made up before you posted, you over looked they both played Hutch and ECS.
  8. I do have an honest question. Why is a great basketball game 114 to 91. Why is a great baseball game 12 to 0? Pitcher gets a ride on shoulders. Why is a great football game TN 56, Miami 3? (That's for canes, he must be ill or is now). Why is soccer the only sport that gets ugly when you stomp the opponent? Racers go faster, golfers shoot lower, tennis tries to win all sets. In all but soccer, it's the American Ride.
  9. I need someone new to pick on so I guess you're it. KIDDING!!!!!!! AGREE 100 % and to prove your point, my daughter is a defender and has rarely scored from the field and only a few assists, but in last year's Senior game each senior was allowed to score one goal and all 8 did. May not be pretty on the score sheet, but 8 girls graduated with their name in the newspaper and in the record books. How many could the team have scored, 50, but we played that team once or twice in the past 5 years and we didn't ask for the game. In 2006, her team scored 134 goals in 25 games and only had 2 scored on them, a state record. They were undefeated and won State and a perfect season. Nobody scored 50 goals and we are talking about going all the way from preseason to the real end. I think if you look at individual records, you will not see the records from the powerhouse schools, IMO, because they play too difficult a schedule. Didn't look, so correct if needed.
  10. G That's 1 word. Somebody's trying to be mean to me. Never liked fruit salad. I know SM is allergic. Don't know anything good about fruit salad. I bet yours would be very nice and it would be nice to try some that was prepared in a nice fashion. Have a very nice weekend.
  11. What, no commentary? You had half a dozen derogatory comments last night about a game you didn't even see. Surely, this was a "game you wish you had back" or at least your usual "funny game..soccer" You post something like the above, which causes someone to try and answer your issue and you don't have the courtesy to intelligently comment on their answer??? It is obvious you are not happy with some of us on here, so either don't get on our posts or be prepared to have us give you grief in return. You toss bait and insults. And please don't give me some second grade response about taking up for SoccerMom. When I gave her grief in the beginning, she always offered a sincere and sometimes different perspective that caused me to respect her answers. Thus, she has earned respect from most of us most of the time. The minute you read her comments, you post an attack. The minute I see msteep, I think, " oh gee what do we have to fight about now" Rank has privileges and we are definitely more rank than you, Cruella. Truce or consequences! Make nice, H20 dog, or I will put you outside in the rain (although, you might like that!). I thought Labs like everybody! You are right, rank does have privileges, but with that comes responsibility to post "nice". (Although sometimes it's hard to teach an old dog nice tricks). (I threw a ball for you again to go chase). I am your job security. lol. Nicely said and thinking nice thoughts. Have a N I C E week-end. It has been a nice day and I hope a nice evening. Now, tell me is that any fun???? NiceDog.
  12. Can only go 1 and 2.....don't know the rest and wouldn't want to guess. 1. ECS 2. St. George's

  14. What, no commentary? You had half a dozen derogatory comments last night about a game you didn't even see. Surely, this was a "game you wish you had back" or at least your usual "funny game..soccer" No Smoke, just facts. Keyboard sword above, or is that what you call a backhanded complement ??
  15. I was reading along and started to think I was dreaming.....eating porridge and St. Benldont and CAK not nationally or regionally ranked and Eurosports is updated and constipated and my, mstreep, AKA Cruella, has drawn the keyboard sword again. But, then I realized, we've only got 3 weeks until withdrawal and everyone must stab at every possible occasion. Other than someone, let me think.....who could that be?, saying the best D and best O would possibly be St. Agnes LOL, I just don't know who to bait first. Oh well, just a burden one must live with. We love you all!!!!! and appreciate all your support and praise (that was in the dream). In case you wonder what it's like playing in the swamp, here's a photo of last nights event. http://h2ofowl.smugmug.com/photos/682509831_s4MvP-S.jpg

  21. I won't argue your point for a second, but the nonsense that drives many of us CRAZY is some of the absolute dumb things they put on the website. The said thing is the reality that they get their data from some, apparently poorly informed OR extremely biased coaches. One team beats another and the loser out ranks the winner and the winner's record in better as well. I don't put 2 cents value, but OMG, be consistent or no one will do anything but laugh out loud. It would be different if we had other sources to look at, but are it and we all do look.
  22. You know it just shows to go you, that even Cruella Deville can learn from an old dawg. You take one great defense and one super fast, dazzling offense and you get an undefeated school that has the Pope on its side. Is Baylor Catholic????
  23. This is the score at the half.....don't want anyone to say that you are reporting mis-information before the final whistle blows! Houston goal came about 34 minutes into the half....however, I heard that G'town had 21 players in the box! i don't think score accurately reflected game....better team won for sure......2 majorly questionable goals...that changed complexion of what was a competitive game. it does get a little lame with all the insinuation that the reason other teams couldn't beat gtown or score on them was "all the people in the box".....you are not giving credit to the four to five girls that play their ....off to keep them in the games and even a chance to win....this team is learning to play with what they have and coach sugg ought to get coach of the year....he has done more with less than I've seen in a long time.... It's a joke, but some who was there and is unbiased (jacksonsteve) said G'town played one forward. Not giving credit, not taking it away. I was not there. Were you?
