  1. Brent Collins - Bigger , Faster , Stronger than his younger brother Todd. A good teammate!
  2. West Greene has shown signs of greatness vs North Greene but that's it! Cumberland Gap Big!
  3. Greeneville High Schools WGRV does an outstanding job doing the pre/post game as well as the play by play. Ron Metcalfe and Pat Crum have done “The Morning After Show” for about 16 years now. They do a good job. Plus they have web site - http://www.greenevillefootball.com/ with all the facts and history of Greene Devil football.
  4. I don't care what play is called; most of those guys know how to pick up stunts on passes. East has good D-coordinator. He has made life hard for Greeneville??™s offensive lineman for years. I hope the team keeps working hard and remembers last year at Crockett because I do! Go Greene Devils!
  5. I like it. Watching the band is like watching pro wresteling. You kind of know what's happening. Good Comment!
  6. West's D must be hurting this year with the departure of Joe Case.
  7. Greeneville has a good o-line. They are overlooked due the backs and receivers. They deserve their piece of the pie, so here is where it is.
  8. Trevon also played QB against David Crockett last year. New team, new year. Let's not bring up the past! Trevon and Jeremy have developed into fine young football players. The men up front will lead or we all be on a long, strange trip! Go 69, 74, and Big Daddy 70.
  9. If Greeneville can control the line of scrimmage, they will win! West has to prepare for more than more than just Greenway. Good luck and go Big Greene
  10. Here is another good one. If the band is a sport then Big and Rich are athletes. Think about it!
  11. Hope so. It brings back old memories. I think that these young Devils need to see Mobuck and hear the tales of times of days gone by.
  12. The band is a lot like professional wrestling. They practice their moves, injuries might happen, and you know what the outcome is going to be. Professional wrestling and play in the band are both entertainment. And that’s the bottom line.
  13. Coach Smith vs Coach Case - keep in mind that theirs some strategy involved here. I will give my nod to Coach Smith and his Huskies.
  14. I hope the O-Line comes to play this week for Greene Devils. They can be as good as any line in the state! Fire out and stay low. What a long strange trip its been!
  15. Now let's don't make fun of the WWE or the new wrestling coach. As for the Greeneville/Newport game, I see Greeneville showcasing thier athletes and Newport playing the power game. Let's get back to football.
  16. Joe played for Jeff. Co. He went played db at TC, then coached the b team at Greeneville for a couple of years. His next move was then to Cocke County.
  17. I think on another topic, I said watch out for someone from Morristown West. Joe has connections to Greeneville since he once coached for the Greene Devils. Plus he went to TC.
  18. Well Leonard, their is more than one coach on a team. So if a kid won't play for the head coach, then it is up to his assistants to sell the program! But it all comes back to if you don't love the game, then you don't need to play.
  19. I believe you don't play for a coach. You play for the LOVE of the game. And that's the bottom line!
  20. I am sorry for not having my facts strait about DB and thier State Championships. I will make sure that I make sure I will my facts are strait before I post again.
  21. Fred Sorrells at Greeneville High School. He taught us to play the game the way it was supposed to be played! He has some pretty good assitant coaches too.
  22. Greeneville will be OK. We have a strong freshman class turning into sophmores at this moment in the weight room. Things are looking up for the Greene Devils!
