Look back a little farther than Mike Zeller Barb. And assistant coaches sometimes take pay cuts in order to become head coaches (example: Stan Ogg - Happy Valley Head Coach, Greeneville assistant in 1997).

Look for an old Greeneville High coach and current Morristown West coach to apply for the West Greene Job!

The Greene Devils did struggle this year. I have always thought it was funny that South Greene is the only high school in the county that has a chip on their shoulder. Greeneville and South Greene Did play two of the same teams – Daniel Boone and Cocke County. Let’s look at the scores. South Greene lost 26 – 7 to Daniel Boone and lost to Cocke County 14 – 7. Greeneville lost to Daniel Boone 18 – 0 and won at Cocke County 35 – 0. These are the only real comparisons that any person can make.

If they want an education and graduate go to Notre Dame!

The O-Line will block for the RB’s and the WR’s , too. It’s a team game and no matter who is at QB, #64 #54 #67 #74 #69 will do their best for Greeneville to win.

Greeneville High School - Fred Sorrells. He taught the game. He expected his players to play with class. He was respected by everyone - even the officials. The kids wanted to play for him. He always wanted to make us better. He and his staff coached were great teachers and better people. Here's to you, Coach!

I always enjoy going down to M-town and watching the Greene Devils play Morristown. Coach Zeller and his staff will have the team ready to play. Greeneville will have to play mistake free football, but the time is now. Greeneville - 24 M-West - 21 What a long, strange trip its been!

One thing that the Mobuck Nation can say is that the boy’s from Greeneville did not quit. The second half was a different story than the first half- 20 to 8, but that is why that is why the game is 4 quarters. statman 3, you must not have seen Greeneville’s QB throw a nice 53 yard TD pass and a 15 yard option run for another TD run. So he was not on his back for two plays! And that’s the bottom line.
