Yeah I hope we can get them any time we play them, especially this year coarse. And I’ll say that next season too. Lol. But we are prolly gonna have some tuff seasons up here in Lander Land but it’ll come back. We got some great Lil teams coming up in Youth Club. But by the time they get to the High School level, who knows we might be a consolidated High School with who knows who. Small town High School Football, well Football In General is taking a hard lick and I’m not the type to politic on here but that’s mostly to blame. Well that and the fact that Kids are Lazy and their parents don’t want them having any kind of discipline, especially from a Football Coach. So I’d say in the next 10 years High School Football will be down even more than it is now. I hope I’m wrong. Hopefully I will be proved wrong. Any way can’t wait until Friday night lights shining on Orr Field.

So what’s anyone who cares thinking about this one? I just hope we don’t get embarrassed at home like we did down there last year. That was a whooping. I know they lost some good talent but pretty sure their O and D Lines are still big and they controlled our run game last year.

This game is probably gonna be one that the Landers try to make up from the loss against GP. Unfortunately for the Huskies they just happen to be on the schedule for Friday night. I’d say if the Lander squad comes in ready to play hard like it’s the Conference Championship then the score could be in the 30’s by halftime. But if they come in thinking easy game, big win then it could be a lower scoring game than most people think. In my opinion tho, the younger fellers should get some PT after about 3rd Qtr. Hope for injury free game on both sides of the ball and good High School Friday night Football. We have a handful of Seniors this year that I dread seeing go. I’ve been around these fellers and watched them play since then, Flag football. Not saying they will win the State Championship this year but at one time these Seniors was a dominating team through the little league years. They didn’t lose many and they were a fun team to watch practice and play.

Knew? I don’t think so! That game was Summertowns to lose until last part of 4th.

Great game but #12 for Green team took over mins of game. Also great game for the young #23 for Greenfield. To know that she has 4 more years of HS B Ball is amazing after her contribution this eve. Congrats to both teams and also The Rangers from Carter County for being a Top 4 team in 1A ball in TN. Just with Cloudland Lady Landers would be raising the Gold Ball tonight with a Win. Oh well Cloudland has some great Young talent coming up too. Maybe we get to make the Boro trip soon.

Wow! These 2 teams could very well be in the Boro again next season. Loaded with young talent on both sides of the court. Boards and bench points is playing a big factor in Summertowns lead. But the fact that they shot 45% from behind the arc helped as well. Fun game to watch on the tube tho.

So is tonight’s game at Daniel Boone at 7pm? I know Coacht schedules says it is but just wanted to make sure.

I’m seriously not sure that he missed a shot in the first game unless he got hacked on a lay up. Then more than not it was an And 1. Maybe he won’t shoot as good in the Cracker Box.

After the Shlacking we took down there I’m not sure we can play with Dawgs mentally. Even on Home Court. Although we did shoot about 18% from the field that night and I’m not exactly sure what they shot but the #2 kid bound to have had 30+ points. I’d say H Town shot about 65-75% that night. But no excuses, good teams make ya have bad shooting nights. Hope we can play with them in RM. it’ll be interesting. Ok the girls side of the Tall blonde girls plays it could be another ruff night for the Lady Landers. She is a player

Cloudland going to play in NC for round 2 of Battle of the Border, Basketball style. It’s gonna take the Landers best shot to win this Round inside Avery’s Gym. NC and TN High School B Ball is just 2 different types of ball. Avery prolly has twice the All around Athletes Cloudland has but somehow we most of the time compete. NC Basketball is more finesse and not as much hard pressure Defense. TN B Ball is more use to the Full Court Pressure D. When Avery plays Cloudland in TN the Vikings fans think we pretty much foul every play and Refs don’t call as much. And when we play them in NC we get fouls called like crazy because our teams are used to the more aggressive D and can play like that in TN. Any way if we can keep the Heath kid from hitting 30 threes In the game I think we can play with them. If he finds his rythem and we don’t have 2 hands in his Face I’d say they win by 15 or more. Should be fun to watch Boys and girls team play. And yes I know I’m looking over Friday nights game in H Town and it should be a goodun too.

Agreed and they have more good talent coming up! Should be interesting the next 4-6 years.

Great games at Sonny Smith Gym last night in a bitter cold RM. The boys followed up a nice Lady Lander win with one of their own. Great games to get to see on both ends of the floor. Those young men faught back from a 10 point deficit with about 4 mins to go in the 4th last night and took the big Win. I havnt got to see Cloudland play a lot this year! Only the Avery, Wartburg and NG games! I feel we could’ve played better against Avery but saw a great performance by the Landers in the other 2 games! NG has a good ball team and in my opinion could be 1 or 2 in Conference! That number 3 wearing the green uniform last night is an athlete! Not because he went up and barely touched the rim on dunk attempt! We seen in warm ups that he was a player! They need him On the field come Fall this year. His attitude wasn’t the best but I feel he just really wants to win. Any way great games last night and well worth the price of admission

Another needed win for the Lady Landers last night against a well coached, talented Husky team. The Lander team was up by double digits at one point but the Huskies faught back and made it a great game to watch. Cloudland was very fortunate to get this Win and it doesn’t matter how many points they were up by. It’s the score at the final buzzer that goes in the books. Good one tho

Cloudland did beat WB but it was a close hard faught game that could’ve went either way very easily. WB is no push around and #23 is a player.

Great game from the Lady Landers tonight. They played a good Wartburg team and was ahead by double digits at times. But they was minus their best player according to one of the boys players from Wartburg. Hope they can keep stepping it up after Christmas and get ready for Conference game time

To you Coalfield fans, if y’all have time and want some good grub before game drop by the BBQ place there on left in RM just passed the Credit Union and just before the NAPA auto parts store. The Highlander fries are purty good and if they have Pig Wings tonight ask about them. We got Hot dogs, Nachos and popcorn in Concessions and all that is fine but if you want a lil more to help keep ya warm tonight try out the BBQ place. Oh yeah and speaking of keeping warm I’ll be working Concessions right above the bleachers behind where y’all be sitting and if you will come up there and let me know who you are and ask for me I’ll give ya some good hot coffee or hot chocolate on me for making the trip up the Mountain and just being a good host. Hope y’all have/had a safe trip. Oh yeah stop by and get a whole load of Pizza from Frank and Martys pizza in RM for them ball players. That’ll help keep them warm and make them quicker on their feet tonight.
