You are right we need to take care of the ball . Getting comfortable down there in the glass house and getting the bugs out of your gut is a major . If we can knock down some early shots that will make a huge difference in the tempo . If not we dont want to play catch up . I think going down last year will help a little also. Those guys are pretty big on paper . We need to d-up on the Williams kid and try to limit his points. Hopefully. Im sure Ned has a good gameplan . Good chance for the kids from Carter Cty to shine. located just about as far east TN as u can go . About 5 minutes from NC state line. About 45 minutes east if Johnson City . About 2.5 hours from Knoxville. And about 5.5 or 6 hours from the game Wed. Hope that helps. LOL.

We need to get after it first thing defensively . If we we score early in the game it will be a big key fo us to do good. If we get in a big hole in points it will be hard to fight back. The big thing is rebound , if we can rebound on both sides of the ball we can play with any of the teams down there. Because we can shoot pretty well , if we dont go cold like our Lady Landers did . Does anyone know anything about these kids from Culleoka. Are they fast runn ing team ,a big team , a athletic team . I dont agree with the odds maker picking Culleoka by 95%. I think it will be closer than that. MY opinion though.

Do any of u Chief fans know if extreme makeover is doing a show on a TV 2 night about a kid name Ransom Smith or something like that name. A kid that was killed in a car wreck. I was watching it and they said they was @ Cherokee High school and the team was red and black just like you guys. Anyway I was just wondering . ANY 411 WOULD HELP.

Storm do you know of any spring scrimages or practices . Also do you know if we have the same assistant coaches. Im willing to give some of my time to help out this new head coach and this young group of guys. We need to support our Landers better more bonfires (if thats allowed) , maybe some tailgaiting before games. Some cookouts after practices for the guys . We could do alot more than we have in the past. We as Lander fans can help bring this team back to the top. Maybe not in 1 or 2 years , but I can see us going 2 to 3 rounds in playoffs within the next 4 years. We have to many athletes coming up . One more thing , do u know the teams on our schedule 4 this year. Is Avery and Mitchell on the schedule?

We have a ballteam that has a huge heart as a team. We Have a great duo of coaches . We have slowed down some run and gun offenses. We also have got beat by fast paced and slow, play running offenses also. We have good senior leadership. If we rebound wel we can play with some good teams . We had Temple down by at least 12 points @ Unaka tournament , but we went cold ,cold in the fourth. We didnt win though and thats what matters. We can shoot the trey pretty good , and we have some gig men inside also. If we can get rid the butterflies early I think we will be OK . Now what about your team ?

Looks like they must have fouled a couple of plugs or should I say Highlanders . I dont think Harriman was dicapline enough to go to the big games . After I seen them play @ Unaka they were just lolly gagging around and acting like the games didnt matter . They must not have mattered to much by the way Hampton beat them . Nothing against Hampton though . The big guy . I cant remember his name but he is supposed to have been good @ football to. He looked lazy. The one with long hair. Any way we busted some bubbles 2-night . We could get beat by 20 or 30 points next game but weve made it this far 2 years in a roll. Way to go Landers . Keep the big HEART. Have you seen both teams play . Cloudland put the D on Greenback. They run the floor pretty good all night . Not saying Cloudland will win but they are in pretty good shape. You are right Cloudland has a hard time with people driving in on them they foul to much inside the paint. If Clawson has a better night on offense and Mathis has a good rebounding night . The 10th graders need to step up like they did last night . Shellie had a great night . What she does doesnt always show up on paper , or on the 6 oclock news . She is a scrapper and I love watching her , Sydney ,and Brooke J play 2-gether . We may not win , but Im not going to get to go so I was just wondering what kinda chance we had. Thanks for the help . dont think so. DJ is a great ballplayer. So is Woodacre. The major difference is , Get in Shannons face and deny him the ball and he will get upset and that hurts his game BAD. Get Woodacre the ball D-up on him and he will stay calm and score , somehow. 2 different ballplayers I would love to see the matchup. When DJ gets down by 6 to 8 points he doesnt play good D . He slows down alot . If that happens then it could be a long night for Wartburg. Iknow that Shannon isnt the only player on the team but he is a huge contributor . The Wartburg fans will get their $s worth to watch Woodacre play . He is a fun kid to watch. By the way all the 411 above is from watching both teams play other teams its not just heresay. DJ wont have 30 probably not even 25 but thats my opinion and thats what this board is for. UH by 8-10. LOL to both teams.

Should be a nail biter . Ithink Cloudland is playing better ball right now but that doesnt mean they will win . If the Landers dont win then good luck to the Dawgs all the way.
