  1. You are the one who is clueless, but your head is somewhere besides the sand. You aren't worth the time it takes to write this, so this is my last answer to your lame excuse for posts. You try to bring in to question my Christianity, your "arguments" are full of insults, aparrantly it's the only way you can debate because you have nothing else. I'm sure some schools follow the rules. A lot don't. Believe it or not, I don't really care. As I said earlier, I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I will sit back and wait for the crap to hit the fan, and know this, I will be laughing when it does. The only thing I hate is that there will be players that will suffer for it and for them I will be sad. As for you DUDE, I could give a rip, you reap what you sew.
  2. TSSAA gets what the Schools give them. What a joke. Ever heard of Enron? I am a christian too, so that makes me incapable of lying as well, right. PLEASE! As I stated earlier, no one is gonna report themselves. How about this? If you really believe all of this drival you've been spouting, Why not make it a rule that ANY transfers have to sit out a year. Should be no problem if you're not recruiting. If you are really just helping out the poor kids then this should not be a problem whatsoever.
  3. There are ways around that too, but even at 40% what a great deal. I do know that a kid that went away to Culver academy paid $5000 of a $25000 dollar tuition. What a great deal. Played two sports. Before you call me a liar his dad told me that, so I guess he's a liar too.
  4. And just how could YOU possibly know this. I'd love to hear this one! Oh I know, it's your best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw BA's ledger book and she let you look at it right? Give me a break!
  5. I agree that most of the kids at these schools are paying full tuition and it is a lot of money. I realize that these kids are usually involved as are their parents. Williamson county schools are somewhat similar in that respect. At least some of them are. But, we aren't talking about most kids. We aren't even talking about all of the football team. What we are talking about is the recruited players that are given a free or close to free ride to play football. THAT is the issue. As to making an a** of myself, I had a good role model. A master of it, I might add.
  6. So, it's poor kids that get the benefit of finacial aid, and then you say you expect one of them to be offended and turn down the scholarship and tell on the school. Surely you don't really believe that! Also, I don't believe it is done blatantly like that. That would be very stupid on the part of the recruiters. I'm sure nothing is offered to a kid without interest and the grades to be at those schools. For obvious reasons, it would have to be done that way. Just like colleges. A lot of colleges break the rules but they do it in ways that would be very difficult to uncover. Now, don't tell me you think colleges don't break the rules or someone will come after you with a big net.lol That's a joke, by the way.
  7. Should I make an a** of myself and point out that you missed a word? No, I'm not in to that. I knew what you meant. MBA is a fine school. I know several boys that graduated for there and they are fine boys. Almost all of the ones I know are athletes, but MBA does have one of the better ratios. How bout BA? Do you happen to know thier ratio? lol
  8. Ok, so I mispelled a word, and you jump on it and try and insult me. Nice. I guess that is to be expected. Do you really believe, honestly that there is no recruiting going on? Like I said before, if you really believe it is all on the up and up, good for you. Sleep well at night. I think TSSAA is tired of this fight and , like you said, no parent or student is gonna turn himself in ,so it's hard to prove. I believe they will keep those schools under closer scrutiny and the NEXT time they will have their day. I don't have a dog in this hunt so I don't know why I'm bothering with all of you. Suffice to say, given enough time, every dog has his day.
  9. That is good for those kids and it is nice that they get it. It's a real shame that they don't give the same "help" to kids that don't play sports, at least not in the same way. Look at the ratio of male students to athetes in these schools. It is appalling.
  10. And where does TSSAA money come from? I'm saying that they don't believe it is worth it, but they will be smarter nest time Nobody has cared about recruiting in those 10 years, but you can bet your ######, if that happens it will come around and I don't think most of you will like it. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
  11. Lets get real here, nobody is gonna be offended if these schools want them enough to let them play for free. These schools are all fine schools and these athletes have to have good grades along with their athletic ability to even be considered. Anyone would consider that an honor and would not be offended. So, of course there isn't gonna be anyone to turn it down or tell about it. That's ridicoulous.
  12. First- Public school is free, how can they offer scholarships?, so your argument is just dumb. Second -just because you win in court doesn't mean you are right or not guilty, it just means that you have more money to fight. We've all seen cases of that. I'm sure that will give real pleasure to a lot of people that like to win at any cost. I just hope it's worth it to all of you. If your conscience is clean, more power to you. But what goes around comes around and I believe it will come around, and you will remember.
  13. Is your name Bill Clinton? Never admit anything even when confronted with the truth. Everyone with half sense knows the deal. It's ok, as long as you play on a level playing feild. But don't try and pretend it's fair for private tp play public schools. There is a reason for the split. More people thinks so than not or it wouldn't have happened.
  14. There are kids at some of these schools from states other than border states. ANd the reason I don't point fingers is because I don't want to hurt any of these kids. Besides, you know as well as I do that it would be very hard to prove if it was done like most colleges do it, and don't tell me you think they are all clean too? Give ME a break!
  15. Let me try and explain it, so even you guys can understand it. Well, most of you anyway. The reason the people that know about this stuff don't do anything is they are told by players themselves. FYI. My sons friend. They just don't want the players hurt because it isn't their fault. If you choose to believe that it isn't done to make yourselves feel better, then YOU are the ones that are deluded. Maybe I did come off a little strong, said some things I shouldn't have, and probably should not have posted in this forum, but you guys are a joke. I am an idiot? Well, I am replying to a bunch of naive posts by guys that don't have a clue. I usually don't reply to ignorance. You guys should stop watching WWF. ( FYI, it isn't real) Sorry to bust your bubble on that too. With that, I'll leave you guys to your fantasy world.
  16. The information is there if you really want it. I am not going to start pointing fingers, like I said in my post. It is not my intention to get anyone in trouble. I just don't think privates schools should play public schools when this can and does happen.
  17. It is really quite simple. If you recruit players from around the country you can't expect to play teams that have to follow the rules. For those who say they aren't recruiting, you are either, lying, misinformed or just plain naive. I don't want any kid who has been fortunate enough to get a "scholarship" from a private school to get in trouble or anything. It isn't their fault and I doubt any parent whose son was given that opportunity would turn it down for any reason. With that being said, I have talked to kids that have told me they couldn't be going there without help and that they were "recruited" to play sports. sometimes more than one. These kids are intelligent kids too, or these schools wouldn't want them. They are smart enough not to tell just anybody about their deal. I would never want to hurt these boys as they are great kids, but, the fact remains that these schools do recruit players. That's fine, if you play other schools like yours, but when you play schools that have to follow normal TSSAA rules it just isn't fair. That is the reason for the split and it is a very justified one.
  18. Franklin was the best team Ravenwood saw last year. They beat them twice, but both games were hard fought and down to the wire. TIme will tell how much each team has changed siince last year. Should be a good game. Prediction.....Even. I think it could go either way.
  19. You can call me shallow and that's ok? I have read this thread and if anyone has been out of line here it is the BA fans. I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just stating facts. You have no idea what I do and don't know, You might just be suprised, and I doubt you really want to go there, but I will leave this thread, because it isn't worth debating with you or anyone else that is part of the "system"
  20. In case you are to "shallow" to know and understand TSSAA rules and by your post I think you are, or you think it is ok for your team to cheat. Recruiting isn't allowed in public schools. Private schools get away with it because they are supposed to play each other. If Williamson county put together an Allstar team they would thump BA. Without your two new players, they lose to Ravenwood and you know it. These boys earned their money and I suspect they will be driving nice cars too. How much did you contribute?
