I am not sure but i could probably say that most of the schools in Florida have their eye on him since he was there last year...I am just going out on a limb to say that I think that Florida State has offered him a scholarshipand some others...I do know this though..He has 2 cell phones..1 for friends and family the other for the college coaches that call and talk to him.

John Martin from kingston Dominated him the whole game...and Coalfield got him out of his game so bad that he jumped offsides like 3 time and was holding some...He is gonna be good where ever he decides to go but right now i think his size i somewhat of a disadvantage because he's playing against faster and quicker players. Cole and C.E. transferred from Kingston because coach King wouldn't give them a chance and Brad came from Florida....And I'm not pumping up Harriman to get beat..I'm just simply stating my opinion in that this year is the best chance Harriman has to get past them.To say a team is better w/out a stand-out player I think is not true unless they are causing problems within the team. If you take goins away from Harriman then I dont think they would be playing rite now because Hampton wouldve put them out last week. If you take Davis away from coalfield how are they goin to look.Lyle or Robinson from Midway. Rone from Cosby. In every one of these situations the teams would not be what or in some cases where they are now..No disrespect but just the truth. With or without Townsend Hampton can be beaten.. Im just sayin that it'd be easier without him because I don't think that Hampton can beat Harriman @ 90 or 95% when Harriman has 100%..but we know the story- It all comes down to who wants it the most...Cause there is one thing I do know...them Hampton boys got ALOT of HEART and won't lay down for nobody.

For someone to be talking about beating a formidable opponent..it couldn't be Hampton..Who has Hampton played...Cosby...Johnson County that gave them an L...Well we see what Midway did to Cosby so that couldn't work and whether if it was by a half point or by a million..a W is a W.

Well I can tell you this. If Hampton beats Harriman without the Townsend kid I would be very shocked..The only way I can see Harriman losing is if they beat themselves..As far as the team goes..I think Harriman is the better team because they are just as big this year and are at full strength...Harriman's biggest problem is their discipline and heart..If Hampton punches them in the mouth early like Kingston and Coalfield did then I think the Harriman players will lay down and give up like they have seemed to do this season.And If you think Hampton is going to pass on Harriman then you're CRAZY..Harriman has faced way better players at skill positions than Hampton has..I think if Harriman plays SMART then they will win this game by a TD or more

Well everyone can say what they want about Hampton this and Hampton that but the truth is that Hampton isn't Hampton without Townsend.People can say what they want about team this and team that but the truth is that w/out him they are vulnerable to defeat. It's like Coalfield, when you think about that team you think about Brandon Davis.If you can shut him down then you have a GREAT chance to beat them. When coaches gameplan i guarantee they are telling their players that we have to stop this kid or we aren't goin to win.That's the truth.The same goes for Goins on Harriman ask Coalfield-They had him running for his life on every down and that is what prevented him from being the playmaker he is and ultimately shut their offense down which enabled Coalfield to win the game. Hampton doesn't have Townsend so one of the main keys to the dominant force that stormed through teams in the regular season isn't there.And believe me they are not going to pass on Harriman. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME OR BETTER W/OUT HIM>>THEIR WORSE...This is Harriman's one and only shot to get a rematch with their region rivals,show everyone they can play, and make it clear that region 2 dominates region 1. Take it one day at a time and be focused on the game.And for the Seniors on the team, play your heart out because this could be the last game of some of your football careers.

I clearly stated that this yr. I think Region 2 is weaker than usual but if we go into the past yrs. their is no question that Region 2 is the toughest..And yes Knox. Fulton and Catholic are the 2 best 3A teams in the state but what point does that prove.And as far as Gibbs and Claiborne beating Kingston is a joke. The only one who could probably even match Kingston is Seymour due to their skill players...This thread is over and i gurantee you in 4 wks. Region 2 3A will be bringing home another gold ball.

And I gurantee that Knox Catholic and Knox Fulton will be #1 or 2 in their region next year.

Almost 10 yrs ago....That's something to say. And arguing is stupid because it is undoubtly #1...Think about this...when you go into a region game it determines basically 2 things 1) Your Season-If you make play-offs or not 2)Which one of these teams will be the State Champion at the end of November. Region 2 was weaker this year than usual but last yr. if you put the Top 6 teams in any region of the state in 3A then they are gonna either win the Region or come in 2nd place...What other region can match that. Instead of saying they are not prove it..Atleast give an argument of some sort.

From what I have heard Hampton's do it all RB is out indefinitely..Well this is their biggest game of the year IMO...Hampton put Harriman out last year. That same Harriman team is back...what about Hampton..All I am saying is THIS IS THE PERFECT CHANCE FOR HARRIMAN...They put them out last year. Their star/best player is hurt. Now all Harriman has to do is go out and play some SMART football and their talent should lock up the win.BUT like I said they have to plat SMART because Hampton went deep in the play-offs last year and with the chance of getting their star player back next week they are smelling another run or even a championship and are determined to get there...It's gonna be great next week.

I hope Hampton is better than that Unaka team...That's one of the smallest High School teams I have ever seen..They were a whole lot slower than i thought they would be also...But still Good Luck to both teams from now on.

Ok...If Region 2 isn't the hardest region in the state prove it next week..Our #2 is bout to spank you and you R the #1 in that region..To tell you the truth your team is alrite but if you was in Region 2 then the game last nite would have been for 4th place..Not to mention this..Gibbs played in Region 2 and never made play-offs even with the weaker opponents of Lenoir City and Loudon of that time period..They mke play-offs in your Region with a 3-7 record when LA,AC, or Scott(who didn't make play-offs in region 2) could have probably earned that 4th spot in your Region...Another thing Count the Rings..How many does Region 2 have compared to any other...It don't matter about the stronger 2 teams all that means is if you played in our region you would have more Ls on your record..Kingston was the strongest of th weaker teams in our region but if they was in yours then they wouldve been #2 this year and IMO #1 last year(and they didn't even make play-offs)

I KNOW THIS FOR SURE...HAMPTON WILL HAVE TO BEAT HARRIMAN BY RUNNING THE BALL...HARRIMAN WILL LOCK DOWN THE PASS AND IF THATS WHATS CARRYING HAMPTON THEN THEIR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE SLIM..
