I am not sure but i could probably say that most of the schools in Florida have their eye on him since he was there last year...I am just going out on a limb to say that I think that Florida State has offered him a scholarshipand some others...I do know this though..He has 2 cell phones..1 for friends and family the other for the college coaches that call and talk to him.

John Martin from kingston Dominated him the whole game...and Coalfield got him out of his game so bad that he jumped offsides like 3 time and was holding some...He is gonna be good where ever he decides to go but right now i think his size i somewhat of a disadvantage because he's playing against faster and quicker players. When that great college coach gets ahold of him and shows him the right techniques then he will be great..As for right now i think he's just TOO big for some of the teams he's playing.

Cole and C.E. transferred from Kingston because coach King wouldn't give them a chance and Brad came from Florida....And I'm not pumping up Harriman to get beat..I'm just simply stating my opinion in that this year is the best chance Harriman has to get past them.To say a team is better w/out a stand-out player I think is not true unless they are causing problems within the team. If you take goins away from Harriman then I dont think they would be playing rite now because Hampton wouldve put them out last week. If you take Davis away from coalfield how are they goin to look.Lyle or Robinson from Midway. Rone from Cosby. In every one of these situations the teams would not be what or in some cases where they are now..No disrespect but just the truth. With or without Townsend Hampton can be beaten.. Im just sayin that it'd be easier without him because I don't think that Hampton can beat Harriman @ 90 or 95% when Harriman has 100%..but we know the story- It all comes down to who wants it the most...Cause there is one thing I do know...them Hampton boys got ALOT of HEART and won't lay down for nobody.

For someone to be talking about beating a formidable opponent..it couldn't be Hampton..Who has Hampton played...Cosby...Johnson County that gave them an L...Well we see what Midway did to Cosby so that couldn't work and whether if it was by a half point or by a million..a W is a W.

Well I can tell you this. If Hampton beats Harriman without the Townsend kid I would be very shocked..The only way I can see Harriman losing is if they beat themselves..As far as the team goes..I think Harriman is the better team because they are just as big this year and are at full strength...Harriman's biggest problem is their discipline and heart..If Hampton punches them in the mouth early like Kingston and Coalfield did then I think the Harriman players will lay down and give up like they have seemed to do this season.And If you think Hampton is going to pass on Harriman then you're CRAZY..Harriman has faced way better players at skill positions than Hampton has..I think if Harriman plays SMART then they will win this game by a TD or more

Well everyone can say what they want about Hampton this and Hampton that but the truth is that Hampton isn't Hampton without Townsend.People can say what they want about team this and team that but the truth is that w/out him they are vulnerable to defeat. It's like Coalfield, when you think about that team you think about Brandon Davis.If you can shut him down then you have a GREAT chance to beat them. When coaches gameplan i guarantee they are telling their players that we have to stop this kid or we aren't goin to win.That's the truth.The same goes for Goins on Harriman ask Coalfield-They had him running for his life on every down and that is what prevented him from being the playmaker he is and ultimately shut their offense down which enabled Coalfield to win the game. Hampton doesn't have Townsend so one of the main keys to the dominant force that stormed through teams in the regular season isn't there.And believe me they are not going to pass on Harriman. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME OR BETTER W/OUT HIM>>THEIR WORSE...This is Harriman's one and only shot to get a rematch with their region rivals,show everyone they can play, and make it clear that region 2 dominates region 1. Take it one day at a time and be focused on the game.And for the Seniors on the team, play your heart out because this could be the last game of some of your football careers.

I clearly stated that this yr. I think Region 2 is weaker than usual but if we go into the past yrs. their is no question that Region 2 is the toughest..And yes Knox. Fulton and Catholic are the 2 best 3A teams in the state but what point does that prove.And as far as Gibbs and Claiborne beating Kingston is a joke. The only one who could probably even match Kingston is Seymour due to their skill players...This thread is over and i gurantee you in 4 wks. Region 2 3A will be bringing home another gold ball.

And I gurantee that Knox Catholic and Knox Fulton will be #1 or 2 in their region next year.

Almost 10 yrs ago....That's something to say. And arguing is stupid because it is undoubtly #1...Think about this...when you go into a region game it determines basically 2 things 1) Your Season-If you make play-offs or not 2)Which one of these teams will be the State Champion at the end of November. Region 2 was weaker this year than usual but last yr. if you put the Top 6 teams in any region of the state in 3A then they are gonna either win the Region or come in 2nd place...What other region can match that. Instead of saying they are not prove it..Atleast give an argument of some sort.

From what I have heard Hampton's do it all RB is out indefinitely..Well this is their biggest game of the year IMO...Hampton put Harriman out last year. That same Harriman team is back...what about Hampton..All I am saying is THIS IS THE PERFECT CHANCE FOR HARRIMAN...They put them out last year. Their star/best player is hurt. Now all Harriman has to do is go out and play some SMART football and their talent should lock up the win.BUT like I said they have to plat SMART because Hampton went deep in the play-offs last year and with the chance of getting their star player back next week they are smelling another run or even a championship and are determined to get there...It's gonna be great next week.

I hope Hampton is better than that Unaka team...That's one of the smallest High School teams I have ever seen..They were a whole lot slower than i thought they would be also...But still Good Luck to both teams from now on.

Ok...If Region 2 isn't the hardest region in the state prove it next week..Our #2 is bout to spank you and you R the #1 in that region..To tell you the truth your team is alrite but if you was in Region 2 then the game last nite would have been for 4th place..Not to mention this..Gibbs played in Region 2 and never made play-offs even with the weaker opponents of Lenoir City and Loudon of that time period..They mke play-offs in your Region with a 3-7 record when LA,AC, or Scott(who didn't make play-offs in region 2) could have probably earned that 4th spot in your Region...Another thing Count the Rings..How many does Region 2 have compared to any other...It don't matter about the stronger 2 teams all that means is if you played in our region you would have more Ls on your record..Kingston was the strongest of th weaker teams in our region but if they was in yours then they wouldve been #2 this year and IMO #1 last year(and they didn't even make play-offs)

I KNOW THIS FOR SURE...HAMPTON WILL HAVE TO BEAT HARRIMAN BY RUNNING THE BALL...HARRIMAN WILL LOCK DOWN THE PASS AND IF THATS WHATS CARRYING HAMPTON THEN THEIR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE SLIM..

I wouldn't guarantee anything on this game.It can easily go either way. Kingston is not the great team like Fulton,Catholic,and AE. The scoreboard of those games says that.And although Fulton ran straight through Carter, they did the same to Kingston. It just depends on who comes to play..I am a region 2 fan..I thinki it is the hardest region to play in in the state but I'm not going to count anything out. Carter has some formidable athletes and Kingston has 2 playmakers. The QB is the one to watch..He can take over a game on his own. The Rb is ok but needs his line's help to do anything. Carter has beat everyone on their schedule except Fulton. Kingston has Ls to the original 3 but also to add Loudon(2nd only to ALCOA in their region) and ESCAPED from Rockwood and was given all they wanted by Oliver Springs....So I wouldn't go gurantee anything..This team isn't like Gibbs or Rutledge etc..where they are big and slow or even small and slow...This is Carter and whether you want to give them credit or not...Its pretty hard to go 10-0 through the regular season and 9-1 through the next...But ONE thing they will never make it past the second round no matter how good the record is.

The thing about that is Kingston didn't play anyone of their caliber the first part of the season. That's why they jumped out to that 5-0 start but was never ranked in the state poll or even East Tn prepxtra poll. Now that they have faced some worthy opponents they have gotten better but I still see Knox. Carter pulling this one out unless they beat themselves or Kingston just breaks out on them.

If Coalfield was in control the whole game then the score would not have been 15-13..And believe it or not alot of games are won by a missed Xtra Point or a missed 2-point conversion. And as far as him moving, I just really wanted to know..I really didn't know the history on that..thanks for enlightening me...Well we will just see who wins but I'm taking the Blue Devils in this one by a TD. If the D shows up..If not then Coalfield has a Hay Day and Harriman makes me look like a complete FOOL on here...Best of Luck to both sides.

Ok...I am making everyone mad...Coalfield is great team..thats why they're ranked in the Top 10. But Harriman's gameplan is to stop Brandon Davis and make everyone else beat them if they can..I will give Davis and Gunter their props because they are well deserved and i do think Davis will be playing on Saturdays in the next few years..But the game is Friday. Coalfield has the more physical team and they will use that to their advantage. Harriman has a more skilled positioned and they will use that to their advantage. The fact is who will play defense and you wanna talk about Mr. Davis having sacks..Let's see how many sacks he has on Harriman's playmaker QB Julian Goins...Like I said before if Harriman plays D then they win...Coalfield hasnt faced a team this year with as much firepower as Harriman and they will get all they want out of them Friday...I HOPE its a game called fairly and No one's injured...And I got a question for the Coalfield fans on here..Why did Brandon move from Clinton to Coalfield? They won the state championship in middle school and were doing fine then he ups and moves.

OK...then your tellin me that Brandon Davis goes to Alcoa and takes over the job from Shiverdecker, Maryville and takes over for Adian Baker, and Oak Ridge isnt having a great season but last year he would've taken the job away from Gulmire.Ok I get what your sayin he's that caliber of player,but he's not takin any of the others job...And out of those 304 pts how many does Brandon have...If there's another weapon on that team then he's a very sneaky 1...

I take King over Davis any day of the week...Although he averaged that much a carry, He had to work for every bit of it and not to mention Kingston has 6'4 320 pound John Martin that he was running behind...Who does Coalfield have???...Don't get me wrong Brandon Davis is a great player at Coalfield who plays just about every team that is weaker than them but a couple. Don't get it twisted, on any 3A & up mediocre team he would be an average or role player. Not the standout that he is at Coalfield.

I think if Harriman can bottle up Kingston's Josh King , then they can do the same to Brandon Davis..If they show up to play D and give their best effort then they will win...In these past couple of games it looks as if the Harriman players are not caring about the D and are waiting to see who can get the next TD...If they do that then they will lose big, but if the play the same D as they played the 1st Half at Rockwood then that will make it a good game..And not to start an argument but didn't Midway have Coalfield almost beat and choked.

Well Fulton and Knox. Catholic could own both region 1 and 2...and I think Kingston or AE could come to region 1 and give Carter a run at being #1 or 2 but it would be a good game.. 1. Fulton 2. Knox. Catholic 3. Carter 4. AE 5. Kingston 6. Claiborne 7. Scott 8. AC 9. LA 10. Gibbs

I'm am sorry Sunbright fans but i just dont think yall r getting it. Harriman is the more athletic and faster team..now dont get me wrong these teams dont always win but this is 1A ball..You dont have alot of depth and SPEED KILLS...Sunbright may put up a good fight but in the end They'll be 2 worn out. Let's be real..How many ATHLETES does Sunbright have that can line up with Harrimans athletes ...Not very many..The Cornfed boys from Sunbright will try to overpower Harriman with the run but they will find out that Harriman swarms the ball like a pack of wolves. All it takes is for 1 player to grab and by the time u shake him off 3 more is on your back..the key of the game for Sunbright is just like any other teams when they are faceing a speedy team.You gotta quickly adjust to the speed of the players or they will put you out of the game early..and 2nd DONT RUN OUT OF GAS because you r gonna need every ounce of effort to play these fast boys through 4 quarters.
