  1. Didn't your son win a state championship at Mt. Juliet after transferring from Wilson Central? I think it worked then.........................
  2. I do believe it because everything I posted is true, no rose colored glasses here. Not worried about other teams, templates and past performances, just concerned with the future of the Bears. Not looking back just looking forward and it looks good Hunters dad.
  3. Sit back and watch Hunters dad. Mt. Juliet will send one freshman, four sophomores, a junior and a senior to the state tournament this weekend. The feeder program is strong and the commitment level is high so just sit back and watch. May not overtake your elite teams this weekend but the Bears appear to be closing the gap..............fast.

  5. Thoughts and prayers go out to the two families from the Mt. Juliet High School wrestling program.
  6. Just going on totally recall, I do know the Irish won the tournament in a convincing manner, followed by M.B.A, Hixson, and Mt. Juliet. Mt. Juliet had seven wrestlers place in the top six with Zack Wilkins winning the 126 lb. title with an 8-4 victory against Ryan's Jared Frazier. Ryan's Marcello Morrice defeated the Bears Danyon Edens in the finals of the 160 lb. class. Mt. Juliet freshman Nathan Walling claimed third in the 182 lb. class. The Bears had two wrestlers finished fourth with Matt Helm (132 lb.) and Grant Brace (195) losing consolation finals matches. Jacob O'Brien (170) and Jalen Henry (120) finished sixth in the twenty team tournament.
  7. add Coffee County Shaping up to be a very competitive pre-season event. Still have a couple spots open if you are interested in playing.
  8. Mt. Juliet finished third, dropping a hard fought decision to Arlington in the championship semis. Arlington defeated the Bears 36-32, with the dual being decided in the final match. The Bears rebounded to defeat Rossview 52-30 for third place. Mt. Juliet reached the championship bracket with wins against McCracken County, Ky. (63-12), Houston (39-35), and Ravenwood (59-15).
