You exactly right beethoven- The first thing the Tennessean does before running an article is see how much money everyone's parents make. Then they choose whther or not to run the story. Sometimes if it's a big article and the parents income is too low they will trim the article a bit. Like wise if they've written a short article and realize it is about someone rich kid, they will certainly beef it up. This is just good journalism.

Why would a comment about cow milking upset you? It wasn't meant to upset you. It was merely stating that media in Nashville will report about things Nashvillians (or Nashheads as I like to call them) are interested about and Dickson media, if there is such a thing, will report about things that Dicksonians (or dic... well never mind) are interested in. Just something to think about.

Isn't williamson county in the midstate? Do they not give the scores of all the games they get info about. Most people only care to hear the scores, so they know how teams did. The interviews and such are just filler. there are hundreds of high school games a week and it is impossible for the radio guys to speak knowledgeably about all of them. I think it is better for them to talk about what they know and have seen then try to make up some crap about teams they no nothing about.

So then why is it you are complaining about not getting coverage from the nashville stations when you are not from nashville? I wouldn't expect to tune in to a dickson radio station and here anything other than dickson football talk and proper techniques for cow milking.

I don't know much about this team from Bye, but Lipscomb is rolling and should win this one easily.

Make sure you know what you are talking about when you throw a temper tantrum. Duh, of course the article on the Lipscomb page is going to biased, that's why it is the lipscomb fan page. Second no passes were thrown in the second half of the game. Third, Lipscomb played the second quarter and the second half with a backup quarterback, so had they thrown, which they didn't, it would be to get a young guy experience. And if their were starters left in the game late in the fourth quarter, which there weren't, it would be because Coach Mc respected Greenbrier enough to know they could come back. So if your going to slam somebody, at least do it honestly, and not ignorantly.

There is a college team in minnesota that has no weight program, does no sprints and never hits at practice and are one of the powerhouses year in and out- so do your research before slamming these philosophies.

That's about all thats necessary. High school kids have more important things to do than be in the weight room. They have to have some time to study and fool around with the girls. Some people make to big a deal out of weights. There are plenty of good high school players that aren't all juiced up.

I think my new thread will be: Most annoying posters on CoachT. Everyone will get to complain about what other people write and how people can't spell. It will be very productive. Because once we all get done complaining about it, CoachT land will be perfect. I know, some of you are thinking why complain when we can just ignore the posters we don't like, but then that ruins it for so many people who have nothing better to do than complain.
