  1. FRA 4 USN 3 FRA wins in pks 2-2 after regulation both teams score in first 10 minute overtime goes to pks FRA wins with 3 out of 4 made USN was 2 out 0f 5
  2. FRA 7 Mount Juliet Chrisyian Academy 0 FRA took a quick 3-0 lead then pulled some starters and really played all young players. I hate to hear it when people say coaches can't control score. In the last 4 years Coach McDonald has never scored more than 9 goals in a game that wasn't close and never has he allowed a player to score more than 3 goals unless it was a close game. He kept the game competitive without embarassing the other team and still gave some players chances to really play and develop. Not just keep away.
  3. FRA 2 DCA 1 Great night for Soccer DCA scored first about 6 minutes in then FRA responded with goal by Morgan Crofford In the stoppage time of first half FRA scores when Carly Bowen puts in Corner kick from Crofford. How about a little love for the Panthers they had a tough last 4 games and did well with 2-2 ties at BGA at St. George and at JCS then finally a win last night.
  4. I am surprised that FRA has fallen so far in the polls. They still are very talented and have more depth than ever before. Yes they lost two great players last year to DI schools but that happens almost every year to the top schools. They looked very good last night against Goodpasture and I guess after the next two weeks with ECS, JCS, BGA, DCA and Briarcrest we will no more. Don't count them out of State picture just yet.

    CAK vs. FRA

I will give a recap from Middle Tn. perspecive on the game. FRA came out fast and hard. I think ND Fans (not team or coach) was a little surprised that they had not read how they were not supposed to be able to play with ND. FRA scored on 2 throw in which actualy happens more often than you think. ND scored after FRA went up 1-0 to tie game before FRA got the second goal. 2-1 at half. ND never quit and attacked continually in the second half as FRA played a kinda "prevent" defense. That probably has a little to do with the SOG difference. Great crowds very loud but well behaved as usual. Both schools are classy and respectful of each other and their programs. I hope they get to continue to play even wiith the divisional change.
  10. Enough about FRA what about Seymour? What are their strengths and who are some of the quality wins they have this year.
  11. FRA had starting sweeper Morgan Alexander out with the Flu and Abby Wharton who is the other starting fullback in middle rolled her ankle 7 minutes in to the game. That left FRA with very young (3 freshman) at back line and Freshman goali in a tough spot. FRA led 2 nothing at half and Coach Mcdonald opted to let young players get experience instead of putting Pitts Crofford and Smith or some combination on the back line to try to secure the win. BA can out and played a strong second half but the game could have been different if FRA had played different style in second half I think. Great experience for young defenders. Kara Parkey for BA took the game over in the second half with a assist and 2 goals.
  12. Big game today in middle Tn. Any predictions on outcome? I have heard FRA is not healthy. Who are BA top players to watch?

    Ranked Teams

FRA beat JPII 3-2 last night
  14. FRA 7 LA 0 please keep the Nigro Family in your thoughts and prayers Kat was unable to play because her mother was in a car accident this morning and was taken to Chattannoga emergency room. The FRA players and familys wish them the best and a speedy recovery
  15. I will be at the game and post a report tonight. I think FRA will win 4-2. FRA has a very young defense and it could be exploited by a really good player like Kat but if she doesn't have help they will be able to control her. FRA has 2 of the best coaches in the area maybe the state and the will have a great game plan ready. FRA has 3 players up top who can score from anywhere and they play very well together. Two have already committed and one is just a Jr. and will probably committ later. Hope the weather holds up. Game might be broadcast on the web which can be found on the FRA hompage. Follow the links for football on the web and you will find it. Not great picture but I have had people from all over country tell me it is not bad.
