Any idea who we will be playing? What district?

I would love to give my opinion but am so confused about how playoffs spots are determined that I will just have to wait and watch. I don't think Cascade or Forrest will lose another district game but you never know, anything can happen. If Forrest wins the rest of their district games will we have a playoff spot with there only being three 2A schools in our district?

Chances are looking good we may be sitting in the rain Friday night. I know Forrest is a running team, not alot of passing, what about WHH? If I remember correctly our game with WHH last year it rained the entire game.

I think we have close to 60 players, I think they were trying to keep it from spreading. We had to wash everything in hot water and wipe down helments and pads with bleach

Last week on Wednesday practice was called off because we had 22 out with flu and strep. Last I heard everyone was back and hopefully well.

You guys have sure started with a bang this year. I am very excited for your program and your kids. Your team did look real good in the three way scrimmage. I think that you have a great shot at the playoffs this time. Good Luck in District 9. I do miss being in the same region/district as all of you. Thanks, hope we can continue with a win Friday night. After being so close the past two years I hope this is our year. I do miss the teams from Region 5 but don't miss the driving. Good luck to Jo Byrns too!

I have to agree with sb38devils about the Rockets roughing up Jo Byrns. I thought we looked good during the scrimmage but that is exactly what it was a scrimmage and its hard to tell alot from it. We had some players who did not get to play in the scrimmage and I know they have added alot since returning. I don't think our players or anyone who has played Cascade through out the years goes in to this game thinking it will be a easy one. I am going with the Rockets, but I think it will be a hard fought game till the final whistle blows.

Forrest travels to Mont. Central on Friday for a three way scrimmage with Mont. Central and Jo Byrns. Got any idea who is coming to the Forrest Jamboree? All I know is Forrest and Cascade.

Abrigo had shoulder surgery at the beginning of summer, not sure about Klaren, saw him with cast on up to his knee. Hope they are ok, would hate to see both miss any games of their senior year.

Any news on Forrest? I know practice starts on Monday, any idea when Abrigo and Klaren will be able to practice? I heard they have a scrimmage on Friday but unsure of where or times. Any Rocket fans have any info?

I hate to hear that about Tony. My son doesn't tell much about practice so I didn't know that. Hope everything goes well on Friday and he is back soon. I am sure they will be glad to have Dane back from baseball and T. Klaren will be glad to return to fullback.

Anybody know how Forrest's first week of spring practice went? I drove by and looked like alot of players out . What about a scrimmage at the end of spring practice? Is there anyone who can play QB if we have one? I know Dane is in baseball along with several other players.

Congrats to Jo Byrns from a Forrest fan. Its great to see a team from region 5 make to the Boro. Keep up the good work and bring back the gold ball to Cedar Hill.

Thanks, hope you all get the win this week against McEwen. Since the Jo Byrns game we have had to play without key players due to injuries. I look for most of them to be back this week except for Travis and Patrick.

I think Forrest comes back this week ready to play. Hopefully three of the starters who did not play at all last week wll be back with us this week. Hats off to the guys who stepped up and filled their shoes. I think we will come back this week and win and take the fourth play-off spot. Most of these guys still have the bad taste of going 7-3 and not getting a playoff spot in their mouth.

I just heard about the change a few minutes ago. Did not hear anything about the game, just the parade. I think that is a wise choice since not only are they calling for rain but also cold. All those elementary kids in the rain and cold was probably more than any teacher wanted to have to handle. I bet the game goes as as planned, may have to scratch the pre-game ceremony and senior night if the rain they are expecting comes as planned.

Things are not looking good for homecoming day, last I saw 50% chance of rain and will be colder. It is also senior night before the game. The Rockets had alot more fire to them against CA. The score should not have been that close, with 3 TD called back on penalties. Several players stepped up and got the job done. Anyone know about Parker this week?Lamar did not look so good-ankle I think. Also heard Casey Franklin did not practice. Hope all these are back and ready to play Friday.

My son said Dane went back to doctor yesterday and he did not release him and he will not be playing the rest of the year. Hate to hear that. Didn't Dane do the kicking last week? Guess someone one else will have to step up and take his place. Hope Colin stays healthly- backups are getting thin. Anybody know whether Parker is playing this week?
