Well not to stir up people on the board.I will just say this.When Grace and Cak started their Football programs up and were getting beat by weak teams they got laughed at and told to drop football.Then they got better and were called cheaters.To me public schools do all the recruiting for the Private schools by taking God out of their schools.I also seen a school play football Saturday who told me their best Quarterback lives within walking distance to their school but plays for another school in the County.Privates aren't the only ones who recruit

And after all the State Championship games we can have a big #### and moan session about what Public State Champions could have easily beaten the Private School Champion their size but if not complain they cheat which is why they separated in the first place By the way I played football in Illinois and at least 80 to 85% to 15 or 20% is the vote in favor of NOT splitting Public/Private there.The coaches say well you go where you want and if the public schools can't beat the privates well we need to get better then.And by the way I do like GP and Chuckey Doak so be proud of your teams.You did well and deserved to go to the playoffs.

Lets not let in 4 and 6 teams like oh say CAK those cheaters lol or Johnson County both who went 4 and 6 with a tough schedule.Lets keep kissing up to teams like a 7 and 3 oh say Chuckey Doak or Gatlinburg Pittman who won many of those games vs weak competition!! Longhorns and Warriors deserve to be in the playoffs just as much as Black Knights and Highlanders.Fayetteville now also 5 and 6 knocked off the defending State Champions.Boyd Buchanan went 4 and 6 got a bye and now a home game against a 8 and 2 team!!! A 1-9 team made the playoffs in Private Large St.Benedict and Davidson at 3-7 made the playoffs while playing a light schedule as opposed to Kings Academy who went 5 and 5 against a tougher schedule and stayed home.Meanwhile other 4 and 6 teams who won were Chattanooga Tyner and Briarcrest.McCallie got in at 3 and 7 against a brutal schedule and won against a 6 and 4 team with a lighter dinner menu Separate all privates and publics.make 3 private state title games and 4 public.2 games thursday night 2 friday and 3 saturday games

And the former Coach at Catholic who runs this was beyond nice.I really loved his white stretch limo

Some ppl got mad at me about my post.I went to both games Saturday and had a GREAT time!!!! But I felt better when I met a very special and important young lady at the game who hugged and kissed me.She spoke of a poster on Coach t mad about the lack of a 3rd game and a certain team not going and she was with me all the way!!!! It was a great time and 2 great games.Bearden and Hardin Valley didn't pull away until the last quarter.West Greene fans were very very polite and happy to come!!!! William Blount and Hardin Valley fans were very very gracious also.First class.I didn't get to speak to too many Bearden fans but they were nice.A special shout out to the Head Coach at West Greene who is a class act!!! Watch out for them next year!!!

When you are building a program and a much needed Bowl Game/11Th game can provide a boost is snuffed out because the Hoops Coach wants to get his season started well I can't imagine Matt liking that.I have heard also though that kids from West Knox,Powell,Eastern Kentucky have been calling wanting to play for Matt.They need that but the whole system needs to work together.i have seen the same thing years ago at Scott and other schools with sports conflicts

Matt Lowe will pull a Lane Kiffin sorta and leave Kings right down the street for Seymour.Why would anyone coach there at Kings after working your tail off to build the program only to have the Basketball Coach(who has done so in the past) wish the Football Team not compete in a Bowl Game(the first ever postseason for Kings) because he didn't want any of his players hurt.They had a shot to play Tri Cities christian in a Bowl Game and Clinton in a charity 11th game at Grace.

Not to beat a dead horse but I was really excited for 3 football games.I also think it is pretty shady that the school the injured kid plays for which benefits him would not even play in the game!!!! 0 and 10,Basketball,Tired,Who cares???? It is a benefit game for your player.Reminds me of all the people who don't want to work but come in and tell me how to do my job and I pay for their groceries!!!! Ok I'm good now

I read Grace is going to have 2 games Saturday.They really want a 3rd.All benefits go toward to young man injured from Kingston.Why isn't Kingston playing? Kingston vs Cumberland.Co would be good.Who cares about 0 and 10.It is a benefit game for your player!!!!

Elizabethton fans have been very nice the times I've been up there.However they sure quit on their team wayyyyy to quick.Vs CAK they were leaving in droves at half.Though I was rooting for CAK,I do like the Cyclones and told the fans to stay and wait it out

They have Nice Fans,Great Cheerleaders and a Great Band.High Hopes this year but didn't pan out

the problem with this is that everyone will be running to schedule teams like Pickett.Co and Red Boiling Springs

The only thing I'd change is no more byes unless it is Private Large AA.32 TEams get in regardless of record in 1A,2A And Private Small A which would have 16 with no byes since 32 teams are not in that class.TSSAA.No byes=More games=More $$$$$$

They can do this because the TSSAA also says you can play a 11th game.So though it really won't be a bowl game per se it is still football!!!!

You can only play in a Bowl Game I guess if you are at .500.Now TSSAA has approved playing a 11th game so I guess it can be called a bowl game.Red Bolling Springs did this 2 years ago vs Upperman
