in my opinion this could end up being a perfect time for meigs to play polk, it just depends on how the wildcats kids react. I know they have great coaches out at polk but you can only tell a kid to focus you can't make him. as for meigs we have always played polk county tough no matter how good we were. if i'm not mistaken the team from last year that ended 3-7 played polk county hard in a pretty close game. regardless of what anyone says this will be a close game if meigs plays with the same fire that last years class played with Good Luck Tigers

Good decision, especially with it being senior night. Has Meigs played better than their results indicate, for anyone who's seen them? There hasn't been nearly as much on here about them as in previous years. For the person asking, and these aren't any big secrets, Sequatchie runs the ball well with several different ball carriers and stops the run well normally. In their last loss they gave up some passing yards but still managed 3 or 4 interceptions, gained 400 yards total but came up short. The last two games, 2 weeks ago they gave up 45 yards for the game then last week allowed 15 yards in the first half. That's good defense no matter the opponents. there have been several games that meigs has played well and just came up short. and as for the not being much on here about them, you know how it goes a couple of loses and everybody jumps off the bandwagon despite the fact that when the boys are losing is when they need the most support

Yea that kid for Valley might have had 50 yards against the first string D....he did the rest against 2nd and 3rd stringers so....but yes are run D is very very strong so if they are just going to line it up and try to pound us then they may be in for a suprise...I would imagine Polk's line is no where as big as Boyd's and we handled them pretty well I thought.... doesn't matter how big they are it's the pride and heart that they play with. and i'll tell every SP fan out there that thinks this is gonna be a blowout that Polk County is a very very good team. they are well coached and have great discipline. not taking anything away from SP but this isn't going to be as easy a game as alot of you guys think

yeah the truth hurts...first round loss every year seems like....but hey, central is getting to the first round!!! are the chargers overrated? they were humbled by polk co and the offense has struggled (except for the running game the last few weeks)....don't know if i would call them overrated....is seq ever going to get over the hump? i would call them overrated

wait did i not just get done saying that central won? hmmmmm read before u type next time smokey.....and as for the clock, i cood argue with you about that for a LONG time and still not be able to explain to you that meigs peole dont run the clock the refs do, please try 2 understand that......and you say central wanted it more?.....you obviously werent in the endzone with the meigs boys before the second half......
