13sports
Hey 12to18TD, Is that just a random guess? Or are you basing your picks on some knowledge? I am not disagreeing with you, just wondering how you came about it. I think your first two (at least based on returning starters) is probably accurate. flngrvy
I'm pretty sure that Mt. Juliet went 22-8 over the summer in the various camps. They played a lot of young guys last year which, obviously gives them experience. They have a new coach from Hillsboro so there may be an adjustment time. MJ AND BEYOND
I'm pretty sure that Mt. Juliet went 22-8 over the summer in the various camps. They played a lot of young guys last year which, obviously gives them experience. They have a new coach from Hillsboro so there may be an adjustment time. Troy Allen is the Bear's new coach, he was 2005 11AAA Coach of The Year. The MJ students are pretty optimistic about the boys team this year. I have to admit that I do not know as much about MJ Men's Basketball as some of the other team sports but I will be out there this year to support! Go Bears! MJ AND BEYOND
Who all did Wilson Central lose? Nathan Thomas (6'6" PF) and Cory Reimoning (6'3" SG) were TACA All Stars. Thomas was All District, All Region. Looks like a bunch of Sr's were on the 04-05 team.
Dark Man
Central also lost C.J. Carter and Alex Perry, who were starters, and Jimmy Majors and Jordan Calhoun, who started as a junior, but came off the bench as a sixth man last year with the arrival of Carter. In all Central lost 6 seniors that either started or got significant playing time last year. Replacing that many major contributors will be tough. jozman
Wilson Central and Gallatin lost almost all of their major contributors to graduation. The rest of the district could be a toss up when district play begins. District 10aaa just better hope they dont get swept for a third year in a row in the opening round of region.
