Who matches up with who and who, either by team or individual, is notable in Tennessee at midfield?

MUS has a great fleet of middies. They are very balanced with a great deal of offensive talent produced by #19 and solid defensively with hustle d-middies #3, #10, #18 and #11.

In addition to the previous reply of TownLax10, MUS also has three young-gun standouts that will shock Tennessee lacrosse in future years. Freshmen numbers 18, 21, and 22 are a great addition to the more than plentiful middie pool of MUS. Sophomores 3 and 10 are also great middies that can play defense and score. Watch out for MUS in the next two years with these young midfield standouts.

i must disagree ... mccallie have very strong middie lines..not only is their first line good , but their lines following that are just as equivilant.

To add to that...McCallie's middie lines are made up of two senior and trhe rest juniors and sophomores. They are definitely solid for the next two years, especially with the presence of Williamson, and the Young twins.

Ravenwood's middies are among most talented in the state and they also have some of the most depth. That is why Ravenwood is good because of their depth. They do not have any incredibly outstanding players, granted some of their players are very good, but their team is good because everyone is playing at a high level and that they have 12 1st line short poles for 6 posistions.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
