This is Henry Kay, and honestly, i think everyone needs to stop freaking out about this. Everyone who has seen an MBA game knows that Carver Morgan is an OUTSTANDING goalie. He really stepped up to make a big name for himself this year and honestly i was very surprised to see that he was not included in the all-state selection. As for Harris Abernathy, You cannot say that he is not a solid goalie. He IS Webb's defense, and is very strong in and out of the crease(with over 250 saves this year). And alex barnes has done and incredible job of leading a team in their first year of d2 to the d1 semifinals. All of these things show that these guys have been great leaders and have done a very good job this year. There is, in my opinion, no need to be insulting those who have worked hard to earn their all-state selection.

I definitely think that MUS will pull this one out. They have a solid team and, although it is somewhat of a rivalry between these two, MUS it seems has grown through their win against MBA.

I agree with you there Redtwin. But if you are talking about stopping the opposing players, then there is no way Tom Jackson can be beaten for this honor. As a junior last year he shut down players such as Dan Gibson (Twice), Chris Cahill, and Tommy Dallisandro (Charlotte CD). He has yet to find an attackman that is too much for him, and has continued this pattern so far throughout his senior year as well.

Yeah thats true, I will give it to abernathy that he is a good goalie but the reason he already has something like 100 plus saves is because he gets shelled by teams like mccallie, mba, and mus. they are shoooting like 50+ shots a game and they cant help but accidentaly hit him and hit pipe. Im not saying he is not any good, but you have to factor in how many shots they are taking.

After losing Scales and knight MUSs D really will have trouble this year. THey do have Nenon and Mathews but I think that they will be lacking the speed and stick skills neccesary to really shut down any top attack.

Hey biggy, have you ever though about the fact that there is no shot in heck a lassiter kid would be talking on coacht? it is a tennessee sports site and i beleive lassiter is in georgia. Plus, i play for mccallie and i even think that is a hilarious picture.

Yesterday in practice chris williamson got hit low from the front and actuially went horizontal while still face down. It was pretty sweet!

Yall need to calm yourselves. First, because the person who made the prediction about McCallie winning by 8 isnt even a student at mccallie. Therefore, it is not our team who thinks that we are going to win by a large amount but others also. Second, you are right Dr. Franchise, crazy things do happen, and because of that, we should all just meet at Swanson road, have ourselves some punch and my moms chocolate chip cookies (maybe even some milk if my allowance can afford it!!), build a nice big fire, gaze at Gods creation, and sing Kumbaya (not sure on the spelling). Irishman, I am taking from your name that you play for Father Ryan. And I am pretty sure that McCallie shut you out 7-0 in the first round of the playoffs and then lost to yall 11-9 after an emotional loss to CBHS 30 min. prior. So really you have no room to say that you are better because you have lost to us as well and by more points. But, hey, what do i know? Im just a dumb lacrosse player. We will see what happens this year. (If you make it to state)
