Grad,

Not sure who will win because of the upcoming district games that will need to be won after the tournament. Some coaches will save pitching.

If you have time watch Knoxville Halls play. They are playing well right now and are pretty deep position wise.

Keep us updated.

Don't worry, I'll watch them at least once! They play the Owls at the Nest on Saturday I believe!

Ooltewah 12, Hixson 4

Anymore Thursday night tourney scores?

Saw the last few innings of the Ooltewah-Hixson game. Both teams looked pretty sloppy by then. Obviously the Owls must have gotten off to a good start, because they could have won in five innings had they not thrown the ball all over the field in the 5th.

Red Bank beat Rhea 6-5, with Fabry and Cofer's speed game leading the way, and Rhea's 6 errors (at least) helping tremendously. Red Bank didn't hit well, but got enough to win. Looks like the Lions will be ready for postseason again this year.

I have a question? What if, just saying what if, not saying that it will happen, Knox Halls wins Pool C and Ooltewah wins Pool D and then they have to play each other on Saturday night. Would that count as the semi-final game or would they have to play that night and then turn around and play at 1?

No, they'd play again on Sunday.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
