That translates to a 6.47 60 or a 4.31 40.

 

BTW, 60 times of 4.2, 4.5, and 4.6 calculate to 40 times of 2.8, 3.0, and 3.07, respectively. Considering that the fastest players in the recent NFL draft were above 4.3 for the 40, you've got some pretty fast kids, there. What you're saying is that those kids you mention run a 40 more than a second faster than, say, Randy Moss.

Sorry, the math doesnt hold up due to acceleration at the start, its why the 40 is used to measure quickness.. it shows the speed a player "gets out of the blocks", most fast track runners run the 100 under 10.0 but I bet their 40's are around 4.25.. they reach top speed around 65 to 70 yards at which they run 10 yards in under a second, but from a standing start they cant run 10 yards in under a second
