Oneida at Hampton Unaka at Harriman Midway at Cosby Grace (?) at Coalfield pair them up this way.. the winners of the these pairings play 2nd round (with a big assumption that coalfield beats harriman)

When and where is the all region team announced.. i dont recall seeing it the last couple of years..

assuming coalfield beats harriman.. look at the game for 2nd/3rd up there.. harriman over midway 41-42 in 2 OTs.. region 2 looks pretty close 1 to 3, with Oneida just behind that ..

I like our chances because of our defense; however, our offense hasnt been clicking of late, the king's acadamy game for a "get well" game came at the right time...

yea, i agree, thats why i asked.. a sec school would try and put about 20 pounds on him and turn him into a te.. thats not fast enough for a wr in the sec..

just out of curiosity, what is his ht, wt and 40yd times?

especially the mental ones.. the 2 personal fouls couldnt have come at worse times, both cancelled out good defensive plays..

cosby (especially the 2nd half) showed real good team speed, they stopped the sweeps and most plays that took a coupla seconds to develop.. however; early in the game they couldnt stop the downhill type quick hitters in between the tackles (it wouldnt suprise me if hampton opens up with 33 lead to test that gap) .. they will hafta really work hard to stuff the box, which will open the cosby d up to milhorns end around, and I think lyons is gonna be a bad matchup for cosby sec, especially inside the 20, where he can run that post/corner

Im gonna disagree with that second part.. we didnt do a bad thing getting away from that play.. Cosby did a good job of making adjustments at halftime, the mistake our staff made was not adjusting to thier adjustment.. in the unaka v. hampton game, real early hampton saw we were overplaying against townsend, it didnt take them long to call that wingback end around.. that play is in our playbook, we even ran it during pregame warmup before the cosby game..

Cloudland by at least 14.. definately getting better, they started out as a young team, those soph they got now have a good chunk of playing time under thier belts.. the UHS v. Cloudland game is for 3/4rth place and should be a better game than I would have predicted for a wk 3 or 4 match up..

not sure of the rule, I've been looking... but i know one interpatation makes the punt play a good call.. on carps hit, one of our guys stood over him and yelled in the downed players face, dumb penalty, good call.. yea, i thought medina was down.. both moved, you can say the d-line caused him to jump.. they got 3 out of those 4 right..

Tonights weather.. mostly clear and in the mid 50's.. sounds like good football weather to me! This game should be a close one.. and its gonna come down to who makes the big plays.. on the one hand its gonna be a defensive game, but with the rangers running a spread offense, and if cosby can hit that quick outlet pass (one broken tackle and its a big chunk of yards) there is still gonna be plenty of opportunities for both sides to put up some points.. if UHS can force Cosby into 12 play 80 yard drives its to thier advantage (easier said than done).. UHS needs to minimize turnovers and not give cosby a short field ..

we might be bitter rivals when we play.. but for a game like this at least one house in ranger country is pulling for ya'll also.. go get em, and stay healthy..

the fact that you all are ranked 6th and got 2 first place votes tells me that people arent judging cosby based on strength of schedule..

again, sounds like your looking for something to get upset about.. read the post right above yours.. thats a cloudland fan (i think thats ne tenn) is picking cosby big.. around 95% of the people on coacht are picking cosby.. 2 unaka people have been posting in this thread.. and we both calling for a low scoring close game..

yea, we didnt really want to make this one a homecoming game, but we only have 4 home games.. our sched was: home, home, away, home(hampton, senior night), off, homecoming, then we finish 3 away.. most of the people going ape over that were hampton people and they take alot of pride in the fact they play a very tough schedule.. 2 of their first 3 opponents are 4A schools..
