Forrest Region 6-A Champs

Forrest beat Moore Co., for the 4th time this year, 6-3 to win Region 6-A.

 

Congrats to Coach Hardison and the guys.

 

Friday: Forrest vs. DCA; Goodpasture vs. Moore Co, for trips to the State Tourny.

Rockets pulled out a griddy game with Lamb hitting two out and Skelley throwing all 7. Even though the game got a little rough at the end with questionable sportsmanship everyone involved kept their heads up. Good game and good luck to moore co.

Mikie Minor and Ben Skelley have been great on the mound. The radio said that they had 267 Ks this season. Mikie has 167 and Ben got his 100 one on the last out tonight in the Region Championship. Keep up the good work guys.

 

Jeremy Lamb blasted two homers tonight, to aid the run support (4 RBI)
