Barnwell left Independence for Science Hill

Yes Darrell Barnwell left Independence for Science Hill. Indpendence job is still open as of June 3rd.

 

Although wonder if what happened to Alderman (the baseball coach), made him feel uncomfortable at Independence and that is the other reason he jumped on the Science Hill, besides being closer to home.

OK, I'll bite. What did happen to Coach Alderman? I knew they were looking for a new one, but don't know why he left after only one year.

Barnwell (basketball coach) was only at Independence for a year, he was at Page for a couples years.

 

But Alderman (baseball coach) from what the article in the Tennessean had a few weeks ago reported that he was well liked as a teacher and coach, but no reason was given why he was not retained, and the principal did not have to cause he had just finished his third year.

 

I have to report one mistake I posted...the new head girls basketball coach at Ravenwood is Steven Williams, he has been the coach at Knoxville Catholic, as well as spending some time coaching at the junior college level.
