Just wondering. You drop down to South Pittsburg in 0 Week for the first matchup between these two schools since the regions changed. What are the Cherokees looking like for this season with a new coach.

Who will start for the Cherokees and who do you see filling the other three playoff spots in region 2-A?

Buddy Jackson will be starting at QB. Thomas McDonald and Justin O'hara will be starting at tailback. Drew McClurg will be starting at center and Jason Hammontree wil be moving to right tackle. Daniel Kelly will be starting at linebacker. Justin O'Hara and Thomas McDonald will be starting at outside linebackers. Replacing Matt Long and Greg Way.

Region 2-A ought to be more balanced and there should be more teams competing for the playoffs this season. I look for Coalfield, Oneida and Midway to battle for the top three spots, while I think Greenback, Harriman and Sunbright should duke it out for the final spot in region 2-A.
