jt beasley, pre-season all state jr is out for the season with a knee injury....

happened on first offensive play in jamboree..

going into the jamboree dyersburg had already lost the following players:

starting QB - may be back by mid-season

2nd best offensive lineman, should be back by game 3 or 4

starting tight end and defensive end - may be back this week

and now the top "O" lineman is out for the season....

dyersburg is having to play a lot of very young players which will only help them down the road...

the impact that these injuries will have on the season is yet to be seen....

but one thing is for sure.......dyersburg is loaded with talent at the junior and sophomore level...

the injury to the starting junior qb will do nothing but allow the sophomore qb to get better and challenge the starting qb next season...there will be a huge battle for qb in 2006 between two very good atheletes....

on the "O" line, the loss of jr class beasly will allow the little sophomore (6'4 320lb) to gain a lot of experience.....dburg's "O" line for 2006 will be anchored by what may be the best 3 "O" linemen in the region with pre-season all state selection beasley 6'3 235, hudson 6'4 330, and 6'3 220 tetleton....

but 2005 has not even started..... dburg's younger players have to grow up quick.....the good news is that they expect to win..... after all, they have only won about 95% of their games since the 7th grade...... they expect to win...

and the senior class appears to be making sure that their year will be one to be proud of.....

a challenge to dburg players reading this post…..take the weapons you have, don’t make excuses, and get it done
