Why is football so popular?

People love to watch warriors. Gladiators were the thing in Rome. Nascar is a good example also. It's war!

the only thing most people like about nascar is the wrecks. notice how on espn, the only nascar highlights shown involve wrecks or the guy in the winner's circle.

haha you can say that about a lot of things for people, thats not why it makes it so great...if you dont know why its so great then how can you say you love it more than anyone??

It's organized, hard-hitting, agressive, and the only the well disciplined both physically and mentally are the great ones we will remember.

Simple- it's the only sport where you can't just go pick up a game on the weekend. I can get guys to play basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, ect...and just go play at any time. You can't get 22 guys and go find some pads and play real football. When your career is over, it's over. All that's left is the memories. Ahhh, the good old days.

This is a sport where the harder you hit someone the louder the people in the stands cheer. You've gotta love that!!!!
