But still 6 points in two games, not so hot, major improvement needed...

Montgomery Central is a quality team. Losing a major cog in the offense always takes some adjusting to. Problems are bound to occur and must be worked. Don' t look for Central to lay down Friday night. Should be a good game to see.

Waverly is at montgomery central tonight. both teams have played hard this season. and though central hasnt score much in the past two weeks. they have played some quality teams such as creekwood. and though harrison is out. jackson is a very capable qb hes got a great arm and can run the ball just as well. he was pulled from running back to take place at qb. hes not used to the position so it is taking a little time for him to get back into it. once the team is able to come back together after losing so many players to injury then they will be back in the game. they are starting to heal as it is. the injured full back is back for the game tonight as is another running back.this game will go down to the wire both teams are capable of putting points on the board, while shutting down the opposing offenses as well. this will be a great game to watch. good luck guys go out there and give it your all!!

 

oh and this isnt montgomery central's homecoming thats the following week against Giles county.oh and waverly didnt win by much last year, a few key turnovers are what gave that game up. and the year before they won by a single point. both teams have always played tough against one another. this will be a great game.

The Indians got the ball to start out the game. To be honest, it was the shortest half and longest halftime i've ever wittnessed..and wat bout that concession stand, stood in line for 15 minutes and didnt move, but oo well. The score at half was 0-0. The tigers scored on a punt returned by Luke Anderson, with help from his blockers of course. The tigers then scored again on a run from JT Blue. We missed the PAT we didnt need it. Waverly wins in a shutout 13-0.

Also i would like to know how the #70 or 70-sumthing kid is doing, he was down for awhile, we were all wonderin. Hope he's alright.. So when ya'll find somethin out, please let me know

6-points scored in three weeks for the Mont. Cent. offense and the Indians have a HUGE region matchup coming up against Giles Co. The winner of that game will be in the playoffs next Saturday morning, because someone is going to lose the Cheatham Co.-Marshall Co. game either way, and the loser will be in a huge hole as far as the postseason is concerned.

 

I said Giles Co. would be a contender come October and that will probably be true after next week, unless the Indians offense can get back on track

We're not quite sure what's wrong with number 70 yet. I've heard torn miniskus, and just a simple knee bruise.. But i'll let you know as soon as i know.
