Yeah i dont think stevenson could touch spenecer,

how do u figure that mike cant touch spencer when they player the same team that was Clinton and im pretty sure by your statistics that mike outrushed spencer aganist them and im pretty sure that mike has more rushing yard on the season than spencer but i might be wrong about on the season.

Considering that South-Doyle had less than 100 yards of TOTAL offense against Powell, I'll go out on a limb and say he didn't rush for 100 yards by himself.

The official game stats have Stevenson with 94 rushing yards against Powell.

Half of those yards were in the 4th quarter against Powell reserves.

Sacks go against TOTAL yardage. Runs for loss by other RB's go against TOTAL yards. From the stats that BOTH teams gave me, it stated he was at 100 yards. So try again there guy. I can only state what stats were givin to me. I'm sure it IS possible that the stats that BOTH teams gave me were wrong.

Not the stats Powell turned in. That number was the same as the News-Sentinel had, which was 94 yards.

That's true, I forgot about the yards he piled up against the 2's.....however, if you go back and look at the tape, he had under 20 yards against the Powell 1's.....that's mighty impressive.

Seriously though, the guy is a good player, just not much of a line. I was just responding to your post that he performed well against Powell. Regardless of the final stats, the Powell D did a good job of shutting him down before the 2's came in. So the 94 yards that he got were rather misleading/

Two questions for you, 8:

1. Were you sore today? You should have been.

2. Have you talked to JP since his surgery? Just wondering how he is doing.

Yea I was a little banged up but probably not as bad at Mr. Reese and Mr. Lucas were lol.

Yea i talked to him a little bit. He was pretty bummed about not getting to see us against the red devils. He said it was tough to listen to it and not be able to strap up. He's doing well and is supposed to join us on the sidelines this week against the cats.

List of running backs Stevenson can't hang with:

Tank Baker (2nd string)

Ryan Tallent

David Gaston

Spencer Gulmire

Dustin Lindsey

Chris Shiverdecker (2nd string)

Brad Walker

Craig Cooper

Chris Donald

Harrison Smith

Face it guys. Stevenson is getting some of his best numbers when the teams that have pummeled SD for 3 quarters finally decide to put their second, thrid or fourth string in. The guys menioned above get MOST of their yeardage in the FIRST half.

There is no arguing Stevenson is durable though. I wish for him the team around him was a lil better.
