enall
Livingston Academy makes it to the state championship game with 5 loses. Has a Division I school ever played in the finals with 5-loses and has any team ever won with 5 loses? Bishop Byrne won the Division II championship in 2004 with 5 loses -- but what about Division I? I remember Maryville and Pearl-Cohn winning championships with four loses, but can't remember any with five.

The 98 Oakland Patriots won it all with a 5-5 regular season record, and like Livengston, they made it in on the last game of the regular season. I think it was '99 Sevier County won state with 4 or 5 losses. Anyone remember?
rmayes12
Check McMinn Central in 1993 (Class 3A). I think that they may have won only 4 or 5 games in the regular season.
