Memphis GLORY 2006 AAU Team Tryouts

The Memphis GLORY AAU basketball program continually strives to improve itself by offering young athletes the opportunity to acquire and develop basketball skills. This is possible by creating a positive environment that attracts quality athletes and supportive parents. The Memphis GLORY program emphasizes physical conditioning and athletic ability but most importantly requires athletes to conduct themselves as positive role models on and off the court. Our coaches are committed to excellence and providing opportunities for the athletes to expand both their knowledge and their love for the game of basketball. We promote positive ethics by building self confidence, self esteem, pride and compassion for others. With our second season beginning we would like to invite athletes and their families who have the desire, passion, discipline and dedication to compete at high-level sports. Although we cannot guarantee or promise a perfect situation for every athlete and family we pride ourselves on providing athletes a fundamental base towards their successful middle school, High School and Colligate careers.

 

The Memphis GLORY will have the following teams for the 2006 AAU Spring & Summer Season.

 

Bantam Team – Athletes born in 1998 or 1997.

9U – Athletes born in 1996 or younger.

10U – Athletes born in 1995 or younger.

11U – Athletes born in 1994 or younger.

12U – Athletes born in 1993 or younger.

13U – Athletes born in 1992 or younger.

 

The tryout dates are February 14, February 16 and February 18 at Ridgeway Baptist Church CLC, 2500 Ridgeway Road, Memphis, TN. Check our website for updates of exact dates and time for each age groups tryout sessions.

Tryout Update:

 

9U and 10U tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Ridgeway Baptist Church CLC. Registration begins at 6:30pm, tryouts will begin at 7:00pm.

 

11U, 12U and 13U tryouts will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Ridgeway Baptist Church CLC. Registration begins at 6:30pm, tryouts will begin at 7:00pm.

 

Make-up tryout date is Saturday Feb. 18. If you would like to attend but are unable to attend one the scheduled dates, please contact the coaching staff to schedule a tryout session.

Additional make-up tryout date has been added, any athletes unable to make the Feb. 14 and Feb. 16 tryouts are invited to attend the Saturday Feb. 18 team tryouts, 9:00am - 12:00pm at Ridgeway Baptist Church CLC.
