screenandroll
That's what I'm looking for. Some real games to compare. Only head to head games that will not happen are Cloudland/Elizabethton (unless in tournament), Unaka/Elizabethton. You can not compare one game against another opponent, don't forget Happy Valley beat South Greene at South Greene, where Cloudland had gotten beat. So comparisons with one or two games are hard to do. Maybe if they played five or six common opponents we might get a better ideal.
GLee
1 Cyclones 2 Blue Devils 3 Warriors 4 Landers 5 Rangers 6 Bulldogs 7 Longhorns And yes, you are being defensive Izzy. It would be good for both Eliz and Cloundland if they get a tourny matchup. Playing better competition does make each team better, win or lose. There is no doubt about that. Good luck to all and hope all of the ladies stay healthy because the real goal is the post season.
izigone29
Not being defensive, just trying to support the LANDERS.I dont think u have to have all the comments about not playing anyone.I hope all the area schools do well, hope they all go as far as they can. The Highlander
'Lander Update: I was going to post the score on the scoreboard, but it isn't accessible yet, although Elizabethton's was....go figure. I'll put it up tomorrow. Anyway, the first half was mostly Cloudland with a half-time score of 26-19 'Landers. Haysi played a much better second half, tied it up at 37-37 at the end of the third. 'Landers wound up winning a nail biter 50-47 on a buzzer beater three from the parking lot. Jess' Lunsford hit it, of course. 'Landers play Avery County, NC tomorrow night at 9:00 pm. krichunaka
Cloudland proved against Haysi that they can win in a variety of ways. Avery County has a few players - #s 23, 34 44/and/or/54 - that are really talented (34 has superstar potential) Cloudland is more "skillful," but the Ladies from just across the border appear a Very Tough matchup. Elizabethton will be challenged more in their post game, but after watching Marti, Michaela and company last night, I think they're more than up to task. Hopefully Eden and Miriah will see much more action, as this one could be a very physical (in a good way) game.

krichunaka
So, it's Cloudland and Elizabethton in the Championship! And Unaka at Happy Valley! It was Mt Heritage 31, Elizabethton 30 after Three. Marti Bush tied it with one of two at 6:55 before the lid closed for Mt Heritage. From 36 - 35, the Lady Cyclones scored fifteen before Mt Heritage hit a free throw. Might have been conditioning, though both teams played deep. EHS got everyone into the game. Casey Crockett hit the final point for the Lady Cyclones. And yes, Jasmine hit a HUGE THREE in the fourth! Santana Clawson's nine-point explosion got the Lady 'Landers off to a nine-to-two start; Seventeen to eight after one. Twenty-nine to thirteen at halftime; Eleven for Santana. The Lady Highlanders did a masterful job of boxing out. A repeat performance tomorrow under the boards and Cloudland has a shot; but Marti Bush and the Pietrowski gals, et al will not be boxed out easily. Meanwhile, Coach Kenneth Chambers, who watched the semi-final action, will have his Lady Rangers at Happy Valley, putting four of the five Carter County schools against each other on Thursday.
