Friday @ Brentwood High, 6 oclock. Who is going to come out on top?

Franklin really has a lot of speed, they may have an advantage. Brentwood on the other hand has done better against their competition and they did manage to beat Centennial. Not that that is huge accomplishment but FHS didn't manage to do it.

The winner has the upper hand on second seed in the district, however.

Franklin may have lost to CHS but one game doesnt make another team better. Everyone has their off nights. Let's just hope that both teams come out on top of their game Friday night! That will show who really is on top! It's always an exciting competition and I hope to see everyone in the stands with me cheering the young ladies on.

neither team has played anywhere close to their capabilities over the last few weeks... i think franklin could take advantage with their speed and athleticism... but i'm afraid they will get too worked up with the hype of this big game and fold. both teams have a way of gettin down on themselves whether it is due to their own play or the officials. brentwood is usually known for their ridiculous defense and good 1/2 court play... but this brentwood team is too up and down to be the "usual, expected" lady bruin team

it is goin to come down to who decides to come ready to play... i wish i could say it would be a close game, but i have a feelin it will end up bein lopsided one way or the other... which way? i have no idea- but my guess is they split durin the regular season

Brentwood wins by about 10.

Superior coaching & discipline wins again.

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what happened.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
