  1. Indy very well may have deserved to win, I didn't see the game, but would have could have should have is part of football. All Wilco schools will ebb and flow with the talent that comes through the doors. New school opening dilutes the talent but success comes in cycles and those that are down will be up and those that are up will be down. That is what makes Williamson Co the best county in TN for football. Indy, Ravenwood, B'wood, Franklin, BGA, all have made it to the championship game in the past 10-15 years and I would suspect that Centennial is not far behind.
  2. Siegel may be a team on the rise but Franklin wins this one. Too talented, too much depth, and good coaching. It would be fun every year to have a Wilco vs. Rutherford Co. challenge in week 0. I see Wilco winning the majority of these games this year.
  3. Yes, Centennial is on the rise. Terrific coaching staff (basically 3 head coaches plus some talented assistance), a growing fan base, and overall excitement in the school has Centennial on the way up. I don't know if they will overtake BHS or FHS but they are ahead of Indy and R'wood.
  4. Week 0 Wilco Poll: 1) Franklin 0-0 2) Brentwood 0-0 3) BGA 0-0 4) Centennial 0-0 5) Independence 0-0 Thoughts?
  5. Taco, Palin, and others, your conversations have been entertaining but lets get back to football. Centennial does not want to be the laughing stock of the message board community, lets leave that to our frieds at 'wood, 'wood, and Indy. Any updates for tonight and next friday? I understand that we have no significant injuries. So far so good.
  6. ........and back to Centennial football. Any feedback on practice?
  7. why does all of this matter? Lets get back to talking football. When is the first scrimmage? I need to scrimmage schedule if someone please could post. This will be a fun year of football in the county. I don't see any real standout teams between Cent, Indy, FHS, BHS, Ravenwood, and even BGA. What would be everyone's county poll? 1) FHS 2) Cent 3) BGA 4) BHS 5) Indy 6) Ravenwood
  8. What are each schools schedules for 2-a-days, scrimmages, etc? Mark my words, Centennial might not dominate this year but we will be much improved and the team is on the up and up.
  9. Does anyone have the summer scrimmage schedule? We will be able to tell a lot from these early scrimmages. It aint how you start, its how you finish. We will be much improved toward the end of the season.
  10. Solid coaching staff, a good performance at 7on7, and a core of players returning from last year. All positives signs for the team despite the hatters. Lets see how things play out.
  11. Franklin has proven once again to be the top of Williamson County. They keep reloading. I wouldn't be surprised to see the wealth spread in wilco a little just like it has in football.
  12. you along with the other idiots were talking about this same shift of power last spring. I would have thought 13-0, unprecedented student and alumni support, and another gold ball would have been enough to make you realize that. You looked like an idiot then and you still do now. Change is normal and is often a good thing. Fresh new ideas has already proven to be better than old stagnat ways.
  13. Bold move by the TSSAA. It used to be travel soccer and football competing here. Now summer baseball rules the summer. If there is an established dead period, will this just mean more summer baseball. Our quaterback from several years back threw his arm out during the summer and was not the same during the season. Let's give the kids a rest.
  14. A state championship is coming back to Williamson County this year. The teams keep getting better and better. Cent/Franklin rivalry is strong, but let's be honest...BHS/FHS is still top dog.
  15. A great clinic in our own Wilco!! Williamson County is becoming a hot bed for HS coaches.
