Everyone has to love the good use of alliteration on the boards...

I agree soysause. And they say asians can't learn the nuances of the english language. I love to see a little class every now and again on here. If the Contractor uses some reverse syntax, complemented by a hint of litotes from ydet, this could be the best topic ever. And popefan, feel free to throwin a few oxymorons. They are always fun.

li·to·tes ( P ) Pronunciation Key (lt-tz, lt-, l-ttz)

n. pl. litotes

A figure of speech consisting of an understatement in which an affirmative is expressed by negating its opposite, as in This is no small problem.

Just in case someone else wasn't sure.

So, being home on a friday night and an avid soccer inquisitor, i decided to check on my neighborhood sports forum, coacht.com. To my dismay and surprise, this message board has been filled with the likes on how BGA, Father Ryan, and JPII are gonna all be good teams this year. I'm glad to hear this, great, super job, but what about the other teams in the state. If i were a west region fan, i'd like to hear something about the likes of the powerhouse CBHS or even MUS. These two teams are always competing at high levels and i know for a fact that both of these teams have very legitimate shots at the title this year. So, if u don't mind me asking, maybe switch the subject from FR and JPII scrimmages, to elsewhere, say, the west?

The two schools are always good. CBHS is supposed to be in the running (for the chip) again. They didn't loose that many players who couldn't be replaced by uprising players.

and this forum is the "hot topic" --exciting
