$$$ LACROSSE OFFICIALS NEEDED $$$

NO REFFING EXPERIENCE NEEDED - WE'LL TRAIN YOU

(But I've haven't met a player yet who didn't think he could call the game better than the officials!)

You will start out doing Middle School and progress to JV & V games as you learn the Mechanics.

An important criteria is the flexibility to do some weekday games starting between 4 & 5 pm.

But you have the flexibility to choose games in advance around your schedule.

Also, being available on Saturday helps.

DO YOU WANT TO MAKE SOME EXTRA MONEY, GIVE SOMETHING BACK TO THE GAME YOU LOVE, OR MAYBE YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO MIGHT LIKE TO BECOME AN OFFICIAL.

Send Redtwin a PM for contact information.

  • 2 weeks later...

from the 2 games that we have played there has been a ref that i have never seen before doing the game. how many new refs do we have this year in middle TN?

Not that many. There were actually several guys that moved away which has created this shortage. Most of these new refs will be doing middle school and JV games for their first year. You might be seeing some guys that reffed middle school or JV last year. I believe most of those guys have played for years but are just going through the certification process now.

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
