Coalfield is probably the returning strong team for their district but you have to take into consideration that Oliver Springs dropped down into their district this year...hmm...could be interesting...

Yeah know Yeah i do think we have a chance to bring it home. We have all the right ingredients now we just have to mix them together and start the season. Whats your opinion? Some people just dont realize the talent and will underestimate us...guess we will find out how we are looking tuesday night at the scrimmage

Who are you guys scrimmaging Tues.?

 

I think you gals at OS will undoubtedly be the favored team to win the district, but don't count out Oakdale too quickly. They had a VERY solid Fall season at Anderson Co. and Jessica Grayson (P) seems to be returning to form after her accident. Wartburg will also return a very talented team, and if Ginger McGee is able to come back from the injury she suffered in basketball a few months ago, then you can look for the Lady Bulldogs to contest for the district title as well.

With that said, the district appears to be yours for the taking!

How's your recovery from the surgery going?

Oakdale I dont see us having a problem with...Wartburg I dont either but than again this is Single A and there is no telling what could happen when tournament time gets here...I've finally recovered from everything i think I still have swelling at times but they dont seem to be bothering me any right now...all the stitches are out and I've been practicing hard. We are scrimmaging South Doyle tuesday at our place

South Doyle beat us 5-2 at SD on Thurs., but neither team looked too sharp and it was the first scrimmage of the season for both.

Trust me I know how this team plays some of them play on my travel team 3 of them I think and I know the ones your talking about. I'm not too worried about this game. It will be fun for me so..

Oakdale is defiently going to be a good team to play against... they were very consisent while playing in the Anderson County league over the fall and also placing 2nd while takin out Campbell Co. Anderson Co. Union Co. Clinton. Oak Ridge... while returning 7 starters from last year with their main pitcher back is a huge advantage... Their whole infield is the same with a couple new changes towards their outfield... She is now back with more speed then ever with a couple new suprises in store for this young lady eagle team.. The Coalfield vs. Oakdale team will be a good game, Both pitchers are very good and should be bringin the heat..

I believe that the Coalfield and OS games this year will determine who really is the best in their district this year. Watch out Bobcats you might come away with a "Stinger" in your "Tail"

I agree I think the coalfield/OS game will determine alot....I will give coalfield credit they had a decent team but OS beat them last year yes I know new year new faces etc etc but not many people are realizing that OS has dropped in softball and are probably more than likely unestimating them.
