Before I begin tonight's report, I have some sad news. Page player Logan Adams severely dislocated his knee cap while pinch hitting in the top of the 6th inn. He hit a blast to left center field that went to the fence and would have been at least a double, but he went down immediately after he hit the ball as he started to run. Time was called before Spring Hill could get the ball back to the infield as Logan lay motionless at the plate. I heard him say that a bone was sticking out of his knee as players and coaches ran to his assistance. After a long delay while we waited for the ambulance to come from Columbia, he was transported to Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. Please say a prayer for him and his parents, Mark and Teresa Adams. Get well soon Logan as the team won the game for you tonight.

LP in relief - Matt Dunn - 4 inn, 5 K's. Starter Daniel Mabry - 5 inn, 2 K's

Page scored 2 runs in the top of the 1st as Kyle Caldwell reached base on a fielder's choice, stole 2nd, and scored on a single by Cory Herald. Herald was advanced on a single by Lucas Wilmore and scored on a single by Erik Smith.

Page scored 1 run in the top of the 1st as Matt Bowling singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a single by Kevin Edmonds.

Page went up 5-0 in the top of the 4th as they scored 2 more runs as Blake Warren singled, Pinch Runner Nic Hissong stole 2nd, advanced on a single by Matt Bowling and scored on an infield throwing error as Bowling also advanced to 2nd on the play. Bowling advanced on another throwing error and scored on a single by Kyle Caldwell.

Spring Hill came back to tie the game at 5 all in the bottom of the 4th as Jonathan Walker walked, stole both 2nd and 3rd and scored on a double by Daniel Mabry. Mabry scored on a single by Chris Hardison. Hardison stole 2nd and scored on a single by Matt Dunn. Justin Dillihay walked and scored on a single Johnny Garland and Dunn scored on a wild pitch.

Both teams went scoreless in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th innings as the pitching took over for both teams.

Page won the game in the top of the 9th as Matt Bowling doubled, Kyle Caldwell walked, both advanced on a wild pitch, and were driven in on a double by Cory Herald.

Page's overall record is now 4-1, (1-1 District 10-AA) while Spring's Hill's district record is 0-1.

Page hosts Franklin tomorrow (Thurs, 3-22) and I believe that injured player Logan Adams might have been the starting pitcher. Logan won his only other game in relief against Independence where he had 7 K's and only 1 earned run in 3 2/3 innings. He will surely be missed by team as he really showed a lot of promise.
