turtleboy
I am surprised that you are surprised. Franklin was missing all of its juniors due to the ACT and brought 6 jv players up to play. Franklin's coach was absent due to a red card in the independence game. Franklin played the varsity players it had in the first half, and at halftime it was 4-0. In the second half, the rebels gave the jv players time, putting its best on the bench, and still outscored usn 2-1. It could have easily been worse. People underestimate the up and down rebels. USN lost 3 starters in the last 7 days... (not to take anything away from Franklin) USN's starting goalie went out the night before against FRA. Another starter went out earlier in the week (I think in Tuesdays game). Another starter went out with an ACL a few weeks ago. USN has had some bad luck. (note--I don't play for USN or Franklin, I'm just trying to be neutral) seeya
UNCsoccer826
well im not sure what was up with the usn team but do to conditions of the field and all people are saying about the team missing good players it brings the vitory down but i think even if they had been full streangth they would have been beaten franklin has been working on finishing and it showed against that team it is really unfortunate that there was no championship but personaly i would have loved for it to have been franklin and independence
