Catholic's first goal was with 18 seconds left in the first half..Oneida got worn out having only 2 subs..Catholic is a very talented team..

It was no surprise. It really affects a team even more when there are so little subs.

Oneida played a geat game. They really worked hard and played well together.

 

Unfortunately, with a couple key injuries, Catholic played with only 2 subs tonight as well.

Who is injured on Catholic, and to what extent?

There was great effort expended by both teams. Catholic has plenty of skill and they kicked it around pretty well last night. Oneida actually built up a pretty good offense out of changes of possession. They were able to counter well enough to keep the Irish on their toes most of the evening. Oneida's defense, despite allowing 3 goals, was actually pretty good considering the number of Catholic shots that didn't make it in because of the Indian's ability to close up shot angles on shooters. Catholic's Keeper managed to keep his net clean, that will probably occur pretty often this year because he is athletic and obviously is well schooled on his craft. Oneida gave a good effort against a "more gifted" line-up, so they have something to build on. However, if they sustain any, and I mean any, injuries they are going to fall way off. They desparately need depth and they have some kids that chose not to play this year that is really restricting them from reaching higher.
