BGA fallen, but not out by a long shot. Ryan, the pride is still alive and well.

MBA, big win against Battle Ground. USN, state champ, two years removed. JP2 win against MBA, tie with the Irish. The tourney should be great..Lets talk a little D2 middle soccer.......

haha i think u r making it more complicated then it should be. BGA is a powerhouse, MBA is underated, JP2's win on MBA was from a pk nd MBA's first game of the season, they have improved a lot since, BGA should be able to take JP2 nd win the rest of their games with ease, FRHS will always fight hard till the end but theyr skill lacks this year, nd having said that who knows in the end ne team can win a game at any time

The BGA / Father Ryan game will not be a game of "ease". BGA has another loss or tie coming from the middle. This region going to be fun to watch.

BGA has a lot of very skilled players.. but they aren't the best "team".. there team is very similar to the one last year, and when it came time for state they had great skill, but they didn't have the team game... this year they are much improved and seem to be playing better team game... from what i can tell, MBA has the best "team" right now... JPII is solid, as is USN, but if the other teams are playing their best soccer, BGA, RYAN, and MBA are the top three. The next couple of weeks will answer questions about the middle with BGA playing most division games and Ryan playing MBA and BGA...

You've sure changed your tune since the JP2-Ryan game.

You don't make sense. I have hardly said anything since the game, much less anything that contradicts a previous statement. The game was 1-1. Both teams had chances.

I have to go with the contractor on this one. pre-game/post game the were no verbal darts thrown by anyone. On to the next one.

    • That was after the 2nd year of a 4 year cycle.  Since Covid we have been on a 2 year cycle.  So, there really isn't a "mid cycle" reclassification this time.   Idk if there's anything in place to address the issue of a school closing.  My guess is, nothing can be done.  This would be akin to the 1st year of a 4 year cycle, where a school has the 20% +/- but not allowed or even have the option to move up or down.
    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
