Does anyone know what teams will participate in d2 middle tourney? How is the tournament structured. Do any teams get first round byes??

I am not sure about the byes, I know that looking at last years schedules that Ryan was the 1 seed and played a first round game against St. Andrews Sewanne, and there is no way they beat anybody. So unless someone forefeits, I dont think anyone gets a bye. On a side note, this is one of the craziest years for balance in the mid region I have seen in a long time. Usually there are 1 or 2 teams at the top another 2 in the middle of the road, and the bottom feederes everyone beats up on, I am still looking for that this year, but I think its great.

I agree. It is still early, but I think that two teams from middle and one team from the west could beat anyone in the state. Getting out of the middle is getting tougher, that says alot for parents, players and schools.

Yeah, I think that the next couple of days will be very interesting, JP2 vs. BGA at JP2, and I believe that this is the weekend that Ryan plays McAllie and Baylor. And if the Ryan-McAllie game is anything like last years, it will be nothing short of amazing, if any players want to give input on what happend last year and what might happen now, that would be great.
