East Ridge has to split with Notre Dame to win District 6-AA Title... Notre Dame has to win 2 times to take it...

May 1st @ Engal Stadium

May 2nd @ East Ridge

 

Any Predictions on who will take it home??? :lol:

 

 

Wouldnt Marion take is if ER was swept.Since they beat Notre Dame and has a better district record then ND

The way I understand it is if:

 

East Ridge sweeps, East Ridge wins district, Marion 2, Notre Dame 3.

East Ridge splits, East Ridge wins district, Marion 2, Notre Dame 3.

Notre Dame sweeps, Notre Dame wins, Marion 2, East Ridge 3.

 

Is that right?

To Tell you the truth i think you are right... But i figured a split with ND would let them take 2 and Marion 3... Who knows though I think you are though.. My bad

Winning the overall regular season title is nice.

But there are two number one seeds in the district tournament.

Marion will be #1 in the valley.

ER or ND will be #1 in the city.

I dont know to be honest with you, but it looks to me that if Notre Dame sweeps, then Marion would win season district because that would leave Notre Dame with two losses and Marion with two losses. Marion winning on the head to head tie breaker. But I do know that there are two 1 seeds. One from the valley and one from the city.

      I think that pretty much sums it up, really. To be perfectly honest, I'm far less sour about Eagleville getting to host themselves in the state tournament every year than I am the fact that we find ourselves in a position that we have to play STATE TOURNAMENT games at a blamed Single A facility.

      It's time to put away with the award. 18 players selected, and 17 of those players are from Middle and East Tennessee. I guess they don't play baseball in West Tennessee. I understand there will be players that were "snubbed." We can make a legit argument that it occurs in Mr. Football and as well as Mr./Mrs. Basketball. But baseball is not a place where we can sit here and say "these are the 3 best players in this class and that class."  And we got to get rid of these polls bullcrap that's being released. It's all nonsense.

      Thanks. I'm just trying to understand how this process works.   It seems like a bit of a sweetheart deal to me but the cookie has to crumble somewhere I guess.

      He won’t got anywhere he has it made in h20 he prob makes almost what a head coach in t c makes plus there’s not as much pressure there everyone is a use to the losing there. I say he will be there for many years just waiting for Webster to leave…
