Whats your point??

They did it!! They were all girls the same age and same grades. They were not high school girls playing jr high girls or Does caliber really have an effect on this. It is history for this team so lets not try to nit pick why, when, and how.

Caliber of teams you play does make a big difference.....No disrespect but anybody could not allow a run if all they were doing was playing very poor teams....

The following is UN-official, but very close.

The Lady Rangers lost to three East Tennessee teams. To: Daniel Boone, 0 - 5 (the only shutout of Unaka; Sullivan South, 2 - 3, Johnson County, 1 - 2;

They lost a game in the NFS tournament 4 - 5; and lost to a AAAA School in the Azalea Tournament in South Carolina 1 - 2.

They beat some very good teams; some pretty good teams; and they destroyed the bad-to-mediocres.

Make what you want of the numbers, because none of it will matter starting Monday, against Washburn, in round one of regional play. But from the beginning of the regular season, through District Tournament play:

Unaka 172 - Opponents 25.

Hello people, just was wondering were is UNAKA? i would say yall have a good team on your hands,we are also class A we are in a very weak district, it is 8A. Our them in just district play has scored 160 runs our opponets have scored 1, in post season play in the district tourn, we have scored 31 our opponets 2, but i will be the first to say our district is weak, real weak. we played in four big tournament here and around nashville, We beat wilson central, played soddy daisy and had them beat 3to 1 with 2 outs they were home team, had 2 on base,there checher got up and hit a home run and they won4 to 3, we went to orlando FL, and played. We try toplay any top school that will play us, we are hoping to go to state, and we are hoping to win, we just might run in to each other, good luck in reigon play and i hope to see you at state. WE ARE FCS.

Hey fish,

Thanks for stopping by. And we'd love nothing more than to get to see you or anybody in the Big Show. There are now, with the addition of Hampton, three (four, but Cosby's a million miles away) Single A schools in our area. Coach Hicks does everything possible to schedule the Best Available competition.

hardball_1, I've asked about the other loss in the NFS - I think you're referring to a game with the Lady Blue Devils - and as I understand it, for whatever reason, it's not on the "official" record book. But, for the record, the Lady Blue Devils have proven their mettle. They've beaten everybody in our area, whether "officially" or otherwise. Fair enough?

And on that note: Unicoi looked incredible in their Destruction of Pigeon Forge this evening. I wanted to get a few interviews, but had to rush out to see my beloved Lady Rangers, who also had an easy go of it against a great group of Ladies from Washburn.

Would be great to see a Fifth game between EHS and Unicoi County; but, last I heard, Elizabethton was in a bit of a jam at Rutledge.
