lol you play for GP , and by the way you always put ezell down , it means this is tracey #22, and if not whoever this is is , ezell will be ready....... n/m MORE than ready and if this is tracey take the number off your jersey b/c you dont deserve to have the same number as gettis.

Tracy is how you spell his name and he surely does deserve the number...he is a sophmore who is just as good if not better than Gettis...If Gettis was so good why would he worry about someone younger than him...This year Goodpasture will put it to Ezell hands down....Im supporting Goodpasture all the way over ezell and to State!

J. Scott Smith??? who are you talking about? To any Ezell players that get on here...don't post...its pointless, and never adds up to anything. To GP, the only thing good that has come out of there in football is Turner...so also don't post, because you will end up losing in 2A.

Losing in 2a??Im pretty sure they did well last year without Turner...They made it to the State Game and rolled over Ezell in the Playoffs!I think you forgot about MArcus Buggs who start linebacker at Vandy, and the many small college players that came from Goodpasture...ever heard of Mark Fisher in the top 10 junior recruits in the state last year...Dont bash Goodpasture or under rate their players(this is a Ezell thread)

under rated lol the problem is their overrated, mark fisher way over rated , ezell's linmen gambill gets no respect and he showed fisher who was the boss in BOTH games. and was just named top 6 linmen at the louisville combine where there were over 75 linemen there.gettis could be the best back in 2a but gets no respect at all. the only reason why yall get respect is b/c yall had patrick turner.

Goodpasture get respect because for the last 11 years they have been one of the best teams playing up a division until this last year on top of that. And you cant say Mark Fisher is over rated he went to an Ole Miss combine and was the biggest, strongest, and fastest lineman there and you cant say Louisville is better than Ole Miss. Also, Goodpasture was good before Patrick Turner played football back in 95 and 99 he wasnt even around until the 01 year.

You say overrated...lol...Gambill is an offensive lineman right??Are you saying he is better than #56 of Goodpasture who recieved offensive lineman of the year for the region. How can he be better than Mark Fisher and he made the all state team as an offensive lineman.Quinton Groves also made the all state team as a dlineman.Who's better??Id say Goodpasture who had the awards and W's to prove it.

if he was the best there then why didnt the coaches there think that, Louisville was the biggest scout.com combine of the YEAR. over 200 kids from 20 diff. states and Gambill made one of the top, and fisher didnt make it at oxford nor did he get a write up. HMMMMMMM. and i checked into it. and YES the louisville one was way more competetive. ask any of the scout.com ppl.and playin in town awards dont mean that much all that means is that your high on the press.im not saying they arent good players they are but there are players that are betters than them. and better players can be on worse teams. ex. Jeremy mimms - blackman highschool school went 0-10 and he could be the best back in the south and yall gonna say hes bad b/c his team bad . nope good team gets the player the awards. its proven tracey mayes is hyped b/c hes on GP."said by Carl Gettis".lol

This is an pointless arguement....If Gambill is better than Groves or Fisher he would get the award hands down. The coaches in the region pick the awards because they see the players play.A player can be on a bad team and if he's good he still will shine.Mayes is a great return specialist who was an sophmore last year.Gettis needs to quit talking and try to make his team better.GP is good because they have good players who work hard to make their team better.Gp wasnt just given the strength and competitve will fo nothing...They work hard.....as an all around Lineman Gambill is not better than Fisher or Groves!!

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
