How about a Pre-Season Jamboree?

I know that most junior high teams begin regular schedules on or after Oct. 15th and most would be interested to see how their teams stack up in preseason. I'd like to get teams from Overton, Pickett, Putnam, White, Jackson, Fentress, Clay, and Cumberland Counties. Others would be welcomed as well. Let me know if you want in.

The dates for the jamboree have been tentatively set for October 20 and 21. We will be using multiple gyms. Teams will receive team packets, and will be able to play one, two, three, or four games. Looks like this could be good for everyone involved. Invitations are being mailed now, but if you don't get one and want to come, just call.

I think both days were very successful for everyone involved. I saw some good boys and girls teams and some pretty good individual talent. Everything went smoothly and I heard a lot of positive feedback. Next year's jamboree will be even better. Good luck to all teams who attended and I hope to see you back next year.
