On Friday Night, Larry Neil Ricker, a former girl's basketball coach and football coach at South Greene High School, was involved in a boating accident on Cherokee Lake in Morristown, TN. Larry Neil is listed in critical condition at the

University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville. His son Neil Ricker, a former

outstanding football player at South Greene, was killed. Please keep the Ricker

family in your prayers.

This is a terrible and unfortunate tradegy. My prayers and thoughts are with this family and I wish them the best.

Larry Neal broke 3 vertebra but he did have movement in his arms and doctors say that he may received full mobility. He does have to undergo surgery today.

Larry Neil went into surgery at approximately 1 PM eastern time. The surgery is about a three hour procedure.
