Super 7

The super 7 is currently 10-2, both losses owned by Memphis-Briarcrest. Last night McCallie and BA came up big against two of the State's best public school programs, Riverdale and Ravenwood. Today there will be two more big games. MUS just got under way in a match-up of state champions against the St. Augustine (FL) Nease Panthers at the University of North Florida. The game is available here. Also, tonight MBA will travel to Louisville, KY to add another installment to their fantastic series with the Trinity Shamrocks. The MUS internet broadcast is coming in and out, so I'm listening to the Nease broadcast.

 

Painful.

 

The MUS guys aren't fabulous, but at least they report in a fairly neutral manner. The Nease guys are such homers. I understand school pride, but for relatively neutral listeners, homer broadcasts are annoying.

 

One of the Nease guys keeps calling MUS "MSU".

The Nease coach is a card...complaining about the officiating, throwing out profanities in the halftime interview (only an H-bomb, but still, this is HS football), etc.
