Top Receivers in Chattanooga

The fact that walter dozier and joel bradford have to split catches and still are top 6 in the state proves that they are the best, temple hasnt played anyone, some of the teams they have played havent even won a game.

I don't think anyone is saying that Temple is better than McCallie. The two schools are in a class of their own. But for you to say that Temple has not played anyone is your own opinion. And to say that some of the teams that Temple have played "haven't even won a game" has nothing to do with how talented Skogen is or any other player on Temple for that matter.

What i am trying to point out that is if you play a crappy team with a crappy secondary you are gonna get a lot more yards passing then if you play a good team with a good secondary. strength of schedule has a lot to do with stats, you cant just blindly look at stats

I understand what you are saying, but for class 1a Temple is number 7 on the strength of schedule and success. At least give them some credit. We'll find out just how good they are when they play South Pittsburg in a few weeks.

Not really. South Pittsburgh is a 1A team too.

When looking at talent, you have to consider the level of competition. I know colleges do.

Colleges look at talent.......When they have a camp (which is a HUGE recruiting tool for them) they are looking at kids talent, skills, intangibles etc...

Just because an athlete goes to school at a small school or a big school, a school with a brick building or a school with a metal building doesn't mean they are or are not talented......now, playing tougher secondaries will change stats but stats are just numbers not necessarily a measure of talent

Well i kinda agree with you but not really on the stat part.... If you are a very good athlete and have to chance to play in college you WILL have good stats at some point in your high school career and thats a fact

Prove me wrong please...... not trying to start another argument here

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
