Halls at West

Fairplay, your opinion is noted. That being said, it’s obvious that your heart is getting in the way of your brain. You are to be commended for your loyalty to your team but should be ostracized from leaving Football commentary on this board. West will win this one easily, unless they look past you all and begin to prepare for Morristown West prematurely. Kind of like the Vols did this past weekend (that's a whole other story). Continue to improve and yes, you will have a chance to make the playoffs but this isn't one of those games that I would get my hopes up for.

I'm also going with West in this one. I don't think that West will look past this game at MoWest. This is a region game and the one that really counts. Cummings is an excellent coach and he has plenty of athletes and a very good QB to work with. Halls got a taste of victory so their confidence level will be up. However, there is a world of difference between Gibbs and West and the game is at West. I don't think it will be a blow out for West, but rather a solid win.

Good God I mean Seriously, Most of you all get on here and bash schools even though u urself didnt play high school football and know nothing about it. It is week 4, Halls is a much improved them over the last 3 weeks considering the replace pretty much every starter on there team of last year. I think u all dont understand the concept of the game, at any given friday there can be an upset. In which this game I really don't think it would be an upset, West lost to, 2 really good teams, and so did Halls. Halls might have been taken out back and spanked but its still a loss either way for both teams. West had a chance to win both of there games and just choked it sounds to me. Sounds like Halls might have the advantaged cause if the games on the line, will West choke again? Hey guys im just keepin it real ok?

Actually, these two exact teams have never met, so there is no way to say who is the BEST team. But if Halls wins, I might say the favored team was not the BEST team that night.

I haven't been able to see either of these two play. The Gibbs-factor causes me to believe the "West will win crowd" will be correct. West has been so close against Webb & Bearden.

This game is at West and West will win. West may have finally moved above fighting for 4th. We'll see.

Wasn't the score of the Jamboree Gibbs 7 West 0 until the last few seconds when West scored and went for 2? Say yes, because it was. But that's the jamboree and it doesn't count. Now, west is 1-2, Halls is 1-2. West has played Bearden and Webb which don't even compare to Central. Yes, any common football fan would agree. Hence, Central beating Bearden by 50 or something at the half if memory serves me correctly. Halls also lost to S.C. who will most likely be 9-1 going into the playoffs just like Central will be. Now, Halls has beaten a Gibbs team that is no comparison to West. West has beaten a South Doyle team that is no comparison to Halls. So, until Friday night plays out, I don't think anyone should be saying one is better than the other because quite frankly we don't have a clue on this one. This is a game where it's literally unknown who the better team is. Now, everyone and everyone's brother will probably side with West. Speed kills Halls, kills Halls, kills Halls. And that is why Halls has beaten West and gone to the playoffs the past 2 years. Just a thought. Good luck to both teams
