this should be a good game. but i will say one thing, we (cascade) have played both teams. and no offense to huntland.i was a lot more impressed with Moore County. it just seems like they have a little more going for them, but it could go either way. one good thing is that one of the two teams will get their first win.ill take Moore County by at least 7 or 14.good luck to both teams :thumb:

Best practice of the year today. All players healthy and ready to go. You should see a better Hornet team on the field this week. Past scores are good to go by. Must factor in players that have been out with injuries and players that may have quit either team. I agree up to this point MC has looked better. The Hornets will be ready for this one. 2 IN A ROW GOING FOR3!!!!

Well, I have to say that these teams are the two powerhouses of all single A ball. This rival has more history than any other teams around. Huntland has one of the most dominant offenses in the state. The QB is unreal, he has a pop-sickle stick as a arm. Throws it 90 yds in the air while layn on his back. They are the Riverdale of single A ball. Huntland has a rushin attack that you wouldn't believe. They average over 450 yds rushing a game and Moore County is close at about 400 yds. The starting RB for HHS averages 334.7 yds per game and he's just in 4th grade. Yeah, missed two games last year cause of T-Cap and still made all-state. Not to mention the most recruited linebacker in the state, this guy is a monster!! He eats raw pork, skittles and drinks rabbit ###### before each game. So if you want to see a knock down, drag out, fire breathin, spit slingin, rabbit peeing matchup, come on down this should be a dandy!!

Just a bit sacrastic aren't you? Should be a good game. I say it'll be close but number 1 for MC gets loose for a couple of TD's that make the difference. MC 21 Huntland 20.

Congrat's to the players and coach's at Huntland. Tough to start the way you have and put together a good plan and get great effort from your kids. Well Done!

I thought MC played hard also and contrary to others, I think Mark is a very good coach.

Game balls : Huntland #34, #16, #12, #81, #3 ( O-line)

MC #1, #2

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
